Number of cheaters / Exploiters increasing day by day.
I think they definitely need to communicate about this.
Been over a month with blatant exploits. And its gone from a few using it to huge amounts. If you cant beat them, join them…
I basicly stopped with WvW and sPvP.
This is the problem with it. They are not banning for obvious hacks. Flying, noclipping walls, up and robbing the orbs right out of it keep and teleporting to their’s to place it. Because of the no bans, other just think “well I cant win here and they are still cheating, why shouldnt I?”.
I’m from Underworld and this is the second time you have accused our server of cheating without any proof shown whatsoever.
The last time was about your orb as well saying a group of ours “teleported in from nowhere” and in that same thread someone showed a screenshot with a group of them and rams up…. Yep, amazing teleportation skills there.
If you are going to keep this up then provide proof. At the moment you are providing empty accusations.
We can’t do anything about these “cheaters” unless we know what’s going on.
No guild names provided and no screenshots. We don’t want cheaters on our server any more than you want to face them but without anything to go off what are you expecting?
for the record: arena net is banning for these hacks. there is typically a 3 day waiting period and then they disappear. a few notable guilds have already lost a couple of players to this, so i know they ban for it.

The post screenshot/video is also a lame excuse. just search on youtube and you find plenty. We cant all run fraps recordign while hovering over the printscn key just to please you or argument about exploits.

If you have someone who’s willing to “hop” server for a day and whisper me on Gomly or Pisbin then we’ll see what we can do internally until A’net deal with it.
If that isn’t an option then let me know what server you are on and i’ll hop over and speak to you myself.
While not important on the server as such I am part of one of our larger alliances and in a notable guild so we may be able to do “something” about it until a proper solution from A’net crops up.
Like I said, we don’t want cheaters on our server. It’s not good in the spirit of the game and it brings our whole server down. That’s a label we want to avoid so i’ll do what I can.
Lot’s of nasty things are happening all the time now. People walking through walls, attacking people inside keeps/towers from underground, altars being destroyed and orbs and keep lords being bugged out this way, people flying in plain sight…
On top of that, a lot of bugs are still in WvW since day one. It’s becomming really frustrating to play WvW with all this stuff going on, and meanwhile Arenanet is not saying a word, and patches are practically dedicated to slowing down the rate at which PvE players farm things, on top of the already slow patch rate everyone is complaining about.

Well, firstly. I’m not expecting you to do anything about it. Secondly, you couldn’t since it’s pretty clear that you are supporting these hackers / exploiters. You were just about to start taking the inner door down when the orb was already running at your base. If that is not enough proof for you, then i’m sorry but i couldn’t give anymore kitten about your ignorant defending of hackers. Also, one does not simply report something that cannot be seen.
Anyways, don’t really care about your silly hacker server. This message was meant to be to a general use.

I am playing on FA. And a couple of the IOJ people cheated outright. When mentioning it another person on FA says he know how they do it and he does it himself.
People aint even scared of bannings because right now ArenaNet seems to have zero control or logging abilities for these exploit. They first need to close them and log it before they can ban people. But since almost all classes got different teleport skills and speed increases. It gotta be a nightmare.

Why are they focusing on PVE so much though? That’s where I feel their focus is right now but I just don’t understand – they are so inactive on the pvp forums and no word any significant PVP changes. What are they doing to balance server pops? Free transfers to high pop servers are still up.

Only 30 percent of the player base has queued up for wvw. By that statistic the pve crowd far outnumbers the pvp crowd. So focusing on pve makes sense.

I understand it’s frustrating but I do not support cheating in any way, shape or form.
I’ll have a word and find out who was about at that time. We may not be able to do a great deal but we can report and let people know who the cheaters are and anything else “within the rules” we can do to cut it out.
I’d come and look for myself but don’t want it to come across as spying so i’ll do what I can from my end.
Yeah and while were at on top of fixing up some of these exploits they need to fix the Keep Lords walking outside the gates and being invulnerable. This Keep Lord bug twice stopped my guild from taking down a Garrison gate in the Borderlands maps.

It was night / morning. Roughly @ 4 am. Barely anyone was on, just a handful of us defending it when we saw white swords on it. And no one capped it, only lord was pulled out towards the north inner gate and was probably evading.
No idea then, but you need to understand that so far in the 6 or so threads I’ve seen where Underworld has been accused of cheating we’ve yet to see a single bit of actual evidence. I’m not claiming that exploiters don’t exist, I’ve seen them on other realms screen-shotted and reported them. The closest we’ve had was that the south gate of garrison does not upgrade properly (sometimes/all the time?) and apparently Underworld is the only server who attacks this gate.
It should be noted that thieves can easily hide themselves and others in a base if you don’t check it properly, so be wary of accusing people of exploiting just because 20 minutes has passed since you capped and magically there’s a few people inside your keep.
And the orb that got picked up was too obvious too, prime time and LOTS of you guys came later to cap bay. All inner doors @ 100% when orb got stolen. Orb running towards your base stayed a while at tower and then got reseted. I’m actually from Underworld originally, but went for a lower populated server cause of the prime time lag, no foul play was needed then to win and still obviously is not not. Even despite the fact we are 24/7 outmanned and still seeing something as low as this just pisses us off.

Honestly you sound like QQing babies. If you actually want to help send how about linking what they are doing. right now you provide no proof of anything. What i really think is you have no idea what your are talking about. I think you getkittenin pvp but your ego is so huge the winner obviously must be hacking/exploiting.
Anet won’t listen to you because you give them nothing to go on. There was a post about how a sever was hacking by putting siege weapons in a place you can’t get to. Well guess what you could get there if you knew where to jump (obvious tiny jumping puzzle). Without proof of an exploit you are just noise.
There are a lot of 3rd party tools available – game seems to be pretty vulnerable for all kind of staff from teleport, stamina hack to radars etc. And there are obviously a lot of people using them (not to mention the bots farming in pve/wvw zones).
I hope the only reason those people arent baned yet, is because arena wants to collect data and ban them all at once. Its people that tell the hacks dont exist, are the ones uninformed and ignorant. (lets separate exploits from illegal 3rd party tools/hacks though – what i am talking about are existing teleport, fly, stamina, radar hacks and bots: a programs interacting and altering client)
There are. Many in fact. I just hope Anet is able to track 3rd party tools and client changes and will punish all the users. Otherwise… its kitten

They are running hard on PVE because that is the only thing that is going to bring them any $$ this holiday. This game in its current state under the current leadership has zero chance of retaining just about any of the competative pvpers over the holiday.

This is a huge issues that needs to be fixed asap. It is detrimental to WvWvW and any pvp for that mater and for world exploration aswell…
This is detrimental to the game period…I mean how many new players are perhaps hearing about this and saying…I am not buying that game. I just read an article over at MMORPG.com about his review #4 where he was actually congratulating ArenaNet on allowing exploitation of the game, including constant server xfers back and forth. He basically said it is like a spy system o.O I am not sure what he is smoking but, I am already tired of the exploiters and even the hardcore players. My hat is off to all who played to lv 80 without cheating, but I see so many in less than a month with full exotic gear just camping puzzle locations and running the supply lines that they know the low lv players are only able to really do. It is becoming something like the game fury with all the pvp cheats/hacks/exploits and what I find sad…some player call it competition.
You know you can hit 80 in full exotic without cheating or even trying right? This game hands out 80’s and exotic’s are cheap on Trade or just grind out some karma in Orr where there are constant 300+karma events going on. Its mindnumbingly easy to get both of those. Really, if you don’t have one 80 by now, you are doing it wrong. Even a casual should have an 80. Maybe not exotics but an 80.
Indeed, this is a growing issue.
ANet needs to be more vocal in their actions – like they were with the karma-thingy.
It sucks seeing people willfully exploit issues to gain advantages and seemingly get away with it, when trying to play fair yourself in that context.
