But what if we( me and my friend) have queues for WvW and want to play together? Or when my guild can’t get into border and we would like to play at EoTM against some other guild? Ur sollution die here

If you are on a server with queues for all maps: Then you are the problem that has to be resolved. Move to one of the many servers without queue instead of overstacking at SFR.

EotM has a high fluctuation. There is a steady stream of coming and going. With 2 you probbaly not even notice any wait time till you can join the same team. The more you are the more effort you will have. And this is good. A to large organized group in a random team environment is a confounder.

Also unbalanced EoTM isn’t even anet’s fault, it is players fault for blobing at SFR and then having queues – being forced to play EoTM.

In the meantime it’s the other way around a lot of people overstack SFR, as this gives them effortless farming in EotM.

Balance not means that the pair of scales is arrested in the middle and cannot swing. Rather it means scale it swings and it swings to both sides nearly equally.

You describe a typical swinging process, fine for me.

But currently there is no swinging of the scales in EU.

The current imbalance fixed one at the top and one at the bottom.

1. of all I don’t play at sfr just gave example of that cos I know situation there, and I woudl like to move to lower tiers withotu queues but…nothing to do there, also my guild want to play gvgs and almost all gvg guilds are in t1-3

2. Oke with 1 firend it would be no problem to get into 1 team but what if I want to play with couple of them? 5 for example when our bls are queued? What then? Man just submit that idea of randomly throwing players into team or throwing players into smallest team is out of question here.

3. I don’t really know what is the deal of balancing it. Atm. Eotm holds almost all uplevels, low ranks and low players form real WvW so it is fine. Also if u feel that u don’t have enough ppl at other sides i will give u advice: buy tag and lead ppl at eotm. Everytime i join eotm as blue / red i see ppl, even no outnumbered buff but no1 to lead em so they leave and the circle repeat. Use lfg aswell to find ppl and band together, bring ppl to ur overflow or u go to overflow with ppl. The problem isn;t balance or something, the problem are ppl ^^ Also lot of ppl don’t join EoTM cos why? It’s pointless gamemode that don’t give any points to servers and don’t have competitive players to fight against.

Honestly, if EotM had an effect on WvWvW World scores, then I would see the need for rebalancing, but it doesn’t. It’s just a place for people to get wxp while they wait in a queue. If anything, they just need to reduce the number of champs and make farming less efficient.

Just defended FR keep 3.5 hours. We didn’t get 10k points because our other commanders were total kitten, but still good experience. For some reason own side players weren’t that happy. Maybe we didn’t win enough or something.

I think EoTM could be great as a small-scale, more action-filled version of WvW if they’d just do two things:

1) Remove the supply drop. If the score doesn’t count towards the Mist War, then nothing else should, either.

2) Shuffle the servers every week, so that you never know what servers you’ll be playing with or what color you’ll be! That would solve a lot of the issues here, and keep things exciting so people keep wanting to play it (and maybe even attack/defend instead of ktrain, or a mix of both, which is personally my favorite).

Part of the issue right now is that the problems that are already there (OG being vastly over-represented, BL keep being stupidly easy to take and stupidly hard to defend) are just snowballing on each other: OG has a bigger zerg, which gives them a more lucrative/stable ktrain, which in turn attracts even more players to their side; BL is smaller, gets stomped, hunted, and camped on a regular basis, which in turn disheartens people (honestly, if you get crushed 99 times in a row, you stop expecting to win, which changes your entire mindset and makes it into a self-fulfilling prophecy), which in turn makes more people quit, which in turn makes the commanders quitters, which only makes the whole thing get worse and worse over time.

If you shuffle the sides randomly every week at reset, a lot of these issues would balance themselves out. Sure, one side may dominate one week, but whatever forces came together to make that side strong that week may be on a different side the next week. Every side would have a better chance of fielding — and keeping — more people. Everyone would get a chance to have a nice change of scenery, and experience the different tactics that the differing areas make possible.

And better yet, no one side should ever get completely demoralized and stay that way, because instead of knowing that next week will just be more of the same brutal beatings, it might be a whole new ballgame!

Eotm is a kittenfest waste of time due to no balancing. Having the top rated server in each tier the same colour is beyond kittened.

If Anet aren’t going to actually do something serious about the stacking at least randomise the colour each server is on every reset so that some matchups will result in slightly less one sided events.

Oh and get rid of the supply drop, all you are doing is helping along the strongest servers anyway

How can you talk about balancing EotM when nobody is even playing the objectives.

Everyone get’s on level 80 in organized TS and play EotM objectives = Balanced done.

Problem is, Anet gave people no incentive to do that, because there is no reward and no servers.

Played 3 matches last night, blue won 2/3…so all your seeing is OG stacking overflows a few times then switching to the latest ones to outnumber the players on the other servers that can’t overflow as high.

and if you wanna make OG leave a map, just defend only seen 1 time all day that OG attacked the defenses first before the gates, and he/she almost made it inside, cept I was there and the map was pretty quiet in our corner after that.
