I`d like to give a suggestion.
I`m playing on Aurora Glade, except one or twice in the night when a GvG takes place, obsidian sanctum is totally empty.What if it will be a place to skirmish, once you are inside the arena you can attack anybody, no matter they are from your server or enemy server, and to be able to have them at friendly the only way to do it to be forming a party.
For all the kills give Xp/loot bags no matter it is your server or not.
This change could just create a little door for the players who want duels and some fights outside the Borders full of zergs who intrerrupt the small fights.

If I understand you correctly you want an area inside obsidian sanctum set aside for dueling? You can really do that in a lot of places in there, also pvp arenas can always find an empty one and duel in there. But yea its not an unreasonable request

The PvP is often not an option even tho there are many arenas open and empty, but you don`t have the same stats and the same build in PvP as you have in WvW lemme give you a very short example :Rune of the Trapper, you don`t have that in PvP.

I see the power-levelling exploits coming like crazy should that be the case.. What’s keeping guildies from constantly dying to my level 1 alt, so that it levels insanely?

A Free-For-All arena holds no place in WvW, as far as I’m concerned.. It’s WORLD versus WORLD, not FFA.. :p

Alright then to prevent this maybe, make the kills give no xp, just count towards kills on sigils/achivments…

yea I can understand that, its not a bad idea, I would just suggest trying to find a quiet area and inviting friends to duel somewhere in OS or a bl, I see it all the time. I passby see an ally fighting, rush over to help and they say “dont interfere we are dueling” so its not like it doesnt happen. There are plenty of quiet spots for dueling.

Theres nothing stopping people from doing that now, simply using an alt account or a friend to trade with. And if I understand him correctly I dont think hes asking for a seperate arena, just an area inside OS that people use for duels, like people use for GvG’s

If you would do so now, then the alt is winning points for his server.. Also, on most matchups there is some healthy competition between the different servers, so very unlikely to find a “friend” willing to get stomped over and over (and thus costing points to their server).

Indeed, not asking for a separate arena, but nevertheless wanting FFA implemented in a game mode that is designed around being part of a group and killing the other two groups? Verrrrrry unlikely..

It is unlikely, I suggest again just trying to find a quiet place to setup duels, GvG’s used to be held at the south camp on a bl, and there are plenty of places for 2 people to fight w/o interferance
