Title gives it away but don’t you guys think it would be really nice if Obsidian sanctum was mega server’d so you could duel people with WvW gear etc from different servers with ease (taxi them in with party). Also this would mean that guilds that want to GvG wouldn’t be transferring a ton.

If you think it’s a good idea I would love if you guys could support me by just saying ‘Agreed’ as a reply just to see numbers and hopefully if we get enough support, Anet will think of implementing this as I don’t think its too hard to do.

The problem with OS is that only one GvG can take place there at a time and it can get queued just like every other WvW zone. Adding Obsidian Sanctum to the Megaserver list would cause a lot more problems than it would solve.

Yes but that’s a limit issue. Maybe the maximum number of people in obsi before another overflow is made just needs to be tweaked.

megaserver OS would be great if you reduced the max number of people to be something like 40 per server before it created a new instance. that way you can always get an empty one if there were already a guild gvging in it.

Honestly instead of making it a mega server, allow people to pick a server from a list of servers like spvp. That would allow for any number of gvgs to go on at the same time and still allow for dueling to occur on other servers. Hell if you wanted to go all out, allow for spectating views to be available on the servers so you could spectate without actually being in the map.

Or, they could just release Guild Halls and introduce an official, ANet-sanctioned GvG game-mode.

Yes @ Helly, It would be really nice of them to do that.

Tbh I just want to be able to duel with wvw stuff from my friends in other servers as call me a liar but spvp =/= wvw in duelling for some things.

I just suggested obsi as megaserver because it doesn’t seem to require as much effort as your suggestion although yours is better, and Flytrap’s is even better than that but let’s be honest, the first suggestion is the most likely if anything.

Meh they could sell servers like the spvp ones on the gem store except for OS. Then you could have private gvgs without any threat of trolling as well and you could actually practice gvgs against your own guild while using your actual gear and not spvp gear.
