I had a lot of fun there too once upon a time but I think it just got played out. also thief was the greatest class to run there for all the skips but theyre not so fun to play anymore.
If there was a revival I bet it would be mostly pu mesmers roaming the halls…

Agreed, love number 1. Rewards should be slightly upped for the end chest, better than just the greens we get at the moment.

I never understood that, bunch of people having brawls sounds like fun compared to the normal tower flipping rotations while avoiding enemy zergs

Because it wasn’t brawls. It was 2-3 servers organizing cross servers to meet up. Everyone took off all armor and trinkets, and just stood on each their starting plateau, and ran down in the middle and took turns to wipe each others for wxp, loot bags, and progression on the ultimate dominator title.

Honestly the only suggestion I care about is #1. The rest are secondary ideas, but the BIG one that matters for bringing life back to it is making it cross-server.
I personally think that since there will be gvg’s coming with HoT, and there are no longer any trait unlocks tied to content OS will become almost completely useless and should either be gotten rid of or changed completely. And any title progression/reward drops should be disabled there as well.

With the Guild hall arenas , depending on the terrain you can add or even with Os , just being a JP with a add on arena.
they could Repurpose it to have Shrines or New Boarderland Mechanics somthing like a Super sized Conquest map with a built in Jp.
you can Roam/ fight over cap points that contribute to the new PPT system in HoT.
it’ll be a Roaming haven and Small scale fighting these cap points will have the structure of the current shrines in WvW , raised ledges , stairs , broken walls , slightly larger Square caps to fit 5vs5’s or a big enough Area to Dual on.
in additon to the shrines being capped , working like this:
bonus chest from the JP for your server.
1 shrine capped : 10% movement speed increase
2 shrines capped : 10% movement + 25% magic find
3: shrines capped : Gain Dwaynas protection 5 stacks obsorbs the next 5 Critical hits (this shrine you need to Click and collect the buff so it requires you travel to this shrine to gain the buff, or collect this buff while in combat just like picking up loot)
4 shrines capped : Kills and stomps grant 5 points to your server (due to roaming the increased amount makes up for the lack of opponents)
5 Shrines capped : All of the above and 1 bonus chest from the Jp treasure .
this just means you only need 4 shrines to gain the best bonus and with the size of Os it won’t take long to travel between points.
GVG guilds could even Fight over these shrines in a type of GvG conquest game mode.
and with the respawn close enough it won’t take long to go rejoin the fight.

The OP’s #1 and #2 would do a ton for GvG guilds that want to fight, but don’t want to bounce around as much as they need to now to get the fights they want.
It would also do a ton to lessen the PPT vs GvG problems that crop up repeatedly. Disagree with #3 and #4.
GvGers will need a larger venue for their bigger GvGs(20s). That’s the OS atm, and will most likely remain the OS. From the videos I’ve seen of Guild Halls they look a bit too small for 20s, but should suit 10s and 15s very well. Guild Hall arenas could lead to an evolution of the GvG as well. Especially if they are too small to get a regroup off without being harassed too much by ranged.
In all honesty I would love for ANet to make a radical change to WvW, and give contribution points for official GvGs. Make a scoreboard, and allow the results from the scoreboard to add to the server’s tick. Take out the Spider Grove down South and make it Thunderdome. GvG drivers interact with an NPC down there to get their guild into Thunderdome. They must select 5v5, 10v10, 15v15, or 20v20 plus the number of rounds in order to activate the event. Once the two groups are in Thunderdome no one else is allowed in, nor can anyone interfere until the match is over. They then fight until one or the other group all get pinned. Auto-rez, and begin again until the number of rounds have been fought, or until one of the drivers calls GG. A set number of points are added automatically to the server of the winning guild.
If they did that then OS would only be used for scrims, and the mechanic wouldn’t matter as much.
