wtf! who was the person, who decided to change the waypoints???

isnt obsidian sanctum a place for people to dual, GvsG, etc. yet they make it impossible to get there.

It was changed because people were abusing the close proximity of each servers waypoints to farm kills, wxp, and loot. There are many places to duel, have an agreement not to finish off a downed dueler and you’ll be fine.

they should just disable all achievements, loot and xp in OS.
make it a official easy accessible place for people to rather around.

To prevent kill trading for loot and achievements.

The waypoints were changed on the 1st June 2016. If you duelled as often as you said you did, or cared about GvG as much as you make out, why has it taken 4 months to see a post like this?

I agree that kill trading shouldn’t happen as having to waypoint and run back is part of the dying punishment throughout the game, along with still having to repair, even though it’s free, you got to find that anvil. That’s the punishment. The old wp’s in OS were way too close together.

i just got back into gw2 when nvidia’s gtx 1080 was released. i was testing out my new card with gw2 when i notice the alphine maps were back. (i stopped playing a couple of months after HoT.) i was lacking information of the removal

i have gone solo (im not in a guild) to OS in the past multiple times but i never see anyone. yesterday, i decided to cry about it in the forums

“the little walk” has mind all the other players, leaving the place empty.
i personally dont mind but its not fun if im there solo.

This place been empty for years buddy… Even when the WP’s were in front of each other.
