Guild Wars 2

I just recently hit 80 and wanted to start unlocking some traits. After going into eternal battlegrounds and neutralizing Orgath Uplands, I stood there nearly an hour waiting for the event to start and it never happened. Am I missing something, are there other things that have to be done prior? I have googled and searched and still cant find anything on how long it takes or why it may not be starting.

When the ogre camp is captured, they send out 2 raiding parties that go to the 2 nearest camps (Umber and Pang). I’m pretty sure these 2 parties have to be defeated as well.

That’s a big “No” actually: The moment you neutralize the ogres, they despawn from the camps.. So it seems OP encountered a bug somehow..
