How about NO free transfers. Or, once a month free transfers. How is once a week transfers going to address community concerns? Especially if guilds collude to do a mass transfer to be able to fight against lower-rated servers? It’s not fun to see the map owned by one server from the get-go. I’d like to see more competition, not less.

I agree. People will still bandwagon to the top servers after every weekly server reset. I doubt it will help much.

Totally agree. They really need to go to a paid model for server transfers.

So when server die i need to pay or quit?

@Junkpile, that’s why he said server transfers could be like once a month or something longer than a silly week. And if you did not server hop onto a dead server within the last month etc., you will be able to use your transfer to get off.

or at least once a fortnight would be ok considering that the matches are for one week, or maybe have it cost a very minimal amount of gems as well

Free or a cost will not stop it but making it have a month delay seems worth it a week is a bit meh but a month is a true punishment.

I say at LEAST 2 week cooldown period.
1 week is still enough to take advantage of the WvW system since most matches are decided by wednesday you can still reap several days of benefit by just transfering on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. 1 week is not enough, bandwagoning is an issue and needs to be solved.

They cannot shut down free transfers until guesting is working and enabled.

What about giving Anet a chance to fix Guesting first, so they can lock down free-transfers completely?? :P

I think that’s the best thing. Stop complaining at every change Anet does, the 7day stop is better than 24hrs, and you know it.

Unfortunately one of our guildies who transfer the day before, got locked out of transferring back in time.
