Opening up EBG as a map.
3 towers total on the map. That are kitten ear impossible to take. Guards that 3-4 shot everyone that ARE kill able just take a boatload. Make it a roaming heaven. Where you are actually encouraged to fight human beings and not walk around with half chubs for capturing some circle…
I think SM is fine. They need to expand the thirds outward, and balance them though. Inner towers should be able to treb SMC, but the fact that OL is the only keep which can treb it just just bloody stupid. Honestly the entire Red third is just mindlessly designed. It really doesn’t fit with the design/layout of the other thirds, and tends to be horribly unbalanced as a result.
EBG just needs a general overhaul in the “balance” category.
SM makes sense, if you dominate a land mass in real war, you always grab the strongest most defensible location where you can control and supply your war machine.
Working as intended. SM is not impregnable. It does not become OP instantly. It depends on supply.
I like SM just the way it is.

Played since 1st online ‘demo’ months before the BWEs.
Take out Quentin Lake and Klovan. Put a tower where the hylek are. Take out Wildcreek and Anzalias. Put a tower in the dredge cave. Take out Ogrewatch and Durios. Put a tower at the ogre camp. Take away all those npcs and you’ve created new interesting siege areas. Additionally, the map is now less clogged.
Now since not every side can have an even number of towers, they’ll have to fight over those middle towers, creating more pushes on the sides that cannot be decided by who holds stonemist.

It’s not supposed to be balanced. Red is supposed to be for the 3rd place server in a tier and their end of the map is designed to give then an advantage to off set the fact that the other 2 servers are most likely better. Blue is supposed to be better than green which I think it is just a hair but that debatable.

The problem now is that tiers no longer exist. Last week poor Dragonbrand got stuck with being green, while Jade Quarry was red.

I think EB needs a rework. The makitten o compact. I cannot go anywhere without running into players. There is no room to play. I feel this tends to promote the whole “bring more” zerg mentality because your highly likely to run into people and have minimal room to break combat. Even as a thief main now, I will opt for borderlands because I have problems with this and stealth only buys me so much room to move.
I used to mainly run on EB but I’ve noticed how its just blob zergs running back and forth quickly over the map more than Borderlands actually in a sense it reminds me of a CoD like fast paced map.
At prime time it’s I mainly see constant zerg fights over Stonemist and lag, even if you 2v1 wth arrow carts as it is you can hardly get near a tower anymore, AC’s inside SM lord room are OP you’ll be mowed down trying to attack either if someone’s manning them.
Plays completely opposite professions to his main Teef.
