Since PvP badges got deleted to reduce “visual clutter”, I think the next logical step is to dumb down the effects of all legendary weapon/backpiece and potential future armor effects in WvW, or add an option to toggle this on and off. This would apply to everybody on your own server as well as those on the enemy server.

The reason for this is that any single legendary skin adds far more in terms of “visual clutter” compared to PvP badges, and since those got deleted, I think it’s only fair the same should apply to legendary effects.

Adding a standard enemy model option in WvW would be obvious as well, since it is already in place in PvP and since there are far more enemies in WvW (with potential to cause far more “visual clutter”) this feature should be implemented asap.

……you do know that it applies to ranked sPvP only right? xD There is no standard enemy model setting for WvW, all you can do is set graphics options on character model limit and quality to lowest, at the cost of sacrificing being able to tell what skills they are using; and even if you do this NONE of the legendary skin effects are reduced.

Edit: The clutter they are trying to cut down on is the humongous Nameplate…
