Usually when we do stuff, we end up with a giant pile of people and no real idea on how to put them. So I’d like to ask on how you’d approach the matter.

  • Boon Share. That is the reason why we have parties of 5. But the tooltip confuses me, since most AOE boon offerings such as stand your ground say it’s 5 targets, but that’s including yourself, right? You’re only affecting 4 other people with it?
  • Guardians and stability seem to be a main thing, so ideally the thing I’ve heard tossed around is 2 guardians per group; I assume that’s for melee parties and for necros/reapers. Or is that too old? Does the driver’s party need anything special?
  • Naturally, keep scouts away, also ranged or gank doesn’t need to co-opt stability.

So how would you organize the following squads? Assume that you can get anyone to change their builds at will, but you cannot change the person’s class.

Squad A:
Guardian (5)
Ele (6)
Necro (5)
Warrior (2)
Revenant (2)

Also, if any thieves were here, where would they go?

Squad B:
Guardian (10)
Elementalist (5)
Warrior (10)
Necro (5)
Revenant (5)

Squad C:
Guardian (2)
Elementalist (10)
Warrior (2)
Necro (10)
Revenant (2)

General idea is that you put all that NEED stability in guardians parties first. Having necros in frontline parties can increase presure, since they will most likely have 25 might. Having tempests in frontline can increase sustain, as well with druids. But yea it’s realy dependant on builds. Any frontliner (class) has atleast 1 midline build and every backline (class) has 1 aswell.

Squad A:
Party 1(commander party):
G(commander), G, G, W, R
Party 2(melee party 1):
G,G,W,R,N
Party 3, 4 (ranged party 1, 2):
N,N,E,E,E

Squad B:
Party 1(commander party):
G(commander), G, W, W, R
Party 2, 3, 4, 5(melee party 1, 2, 3, 4):
G,G,W, W, R
Party 6(ranged party 1):
N,N,E,E,E
Party 7(ranged party 2):
N,N,N,E,E
Or if you want ranged revenants and with that more ranged presure you can switch all necros with revenants.

Squad C:
Stop playing and cry yourself to sleep, as your composition sucks. Also pirateship like hell.

But yea probably this is best you can do:
G,G,W,W,R
R,E,E,N,N
4X E,E,N,N

Edit: Thiefs tend to go to their own subsquad so they can target opponents, unless their using venshare, in which case put them with necros, but bevare of enemies rage.

2-3 guardians in each party, then work your way down from the most important classes with least amount of stability onwards. 2 guards in each party only provides around 40% stability uptime. You might want to throw one more in a commander party to let the commander not have to use his own stability except in an “oh kitten” moment.
