1: Megaservers doesn’t effect WvW.
2: There are, as far as I am aware, no F2P or B2P games with RvRvR fights. The only games I can recall having those are Dark Age of Camelot and Elder Scrolls Online, both which require subscriptions.

Call of Duty seems your best bet. War all over the place. Lots of fights, crying kids, 360 noscopes, it has capture the flag and not a huge megaserver but nice small good ballanced servers euhm hosts.

There are hundreds of online games. None of them are like GW2.
If I was to pick a perpetual battle game to be invested in (ie play in a guild and such), I’d probably pick Planetside 2. It offers some really neat things and the battles can be epic.
Other MMOs afaik require you to spend quite alot of time outside PvP. ESO (with monthly fee) is of course the one that come closest and in many aspects exceed GW2 WvW, but it fail on so many levels levels its not even funny. And it still require you to spend a gazillion hours doing other stuff. Like managing your inventory.
Shadowbane is old (and was dated when it was new) but it was one of the best warfare games I played with pretty good class balance despite having a lot of very diverse classes. The emulated servers are entering open beta to bring the game back. But I will say again… this game did not age well.
ESO still has a subscription but its WvW is much better than GW2’s but the grind is horrendous. I simply couldn’t take it anymore and came back.
Of the upcoming games to watch, Eternal Crusade is a shooter but is looking pretty good for being in pre-alpha. EQ Next and DAoC are on everyone’s list. Arche Age just entered open beta if I recall and is worth a look, but the grind is bad in that game and they didn’t balance it well.
