Currently there are a lot of people hopping maps to snack the outmanned buff for the +5 bonus pips. While this is already bad enough it is even worse for the people who are playing on the map the whole time, since it only gives the +5 bonus pips if the outmanned buff is active in the last second where the pips get added to your account. So people can fight 5 min while outmanned and end up not getting the bonus due to map jumpers.

Another flaw is the commander bonus pip. It is counting people who are not even inside of WvW. So people can make 4 f2p accounts and multi login them (and leave them in lion arch for example) to get that bonus pip… It should only count people who are on your server and on a WvW map, otherwise it is just asking for cheating it.

How are people consistently map jumping at the tick with queues as they were last night?

And if they all hop to a map and make it lose the outmanned buff they don’t get it so….

Honestly, the outnumbered +5 pips needs to be lowered. Currently, alot of people wait for outnumbered to happen, just to afk in that map and kill something every few min to keep the participation running and increase their pip income by ALOT. It should be lowered to 1-3.

Its kind of stupid that people that work hard, actualy are in proper action are getting less rewarded, than those that afk in outnumbered maps.

In my opinion, additional pips should also be awarded, if you captured/defended an objective in the last 5 minutes, or got a specific amount of kills. However it should be dealt in a way that EotM 2.0 would not happen.

there is no commander on any map on the server I play on, so people map jump like crazy and ruin the buff for the people who stay “loyal” to a map
