If your team is losing ground while there is a queue in the borderland/battleground that are you in then it means your server is getting outplayed, not outnumbered o.O
Outmanned is enemies in the general area, not in the whole map.

Well, if you believe 20 vs 100 is being outplayed, I think we might have a different definition of being outnumbered lol.
I think it is a fair suggestion to add more balance in that matter, we are often outnumbered in our own borderlands (don’t worry, we aren’t doing great on other borderlands either with the sole reason of us lacking people).

I agree entirely, also by announcing this beforehand gives people the possibility to hop once more for free and I’m pretty sure a lot will do so lol.
The current system is broken imo, but it can be fixed~ it’s still a young game and Anet has done a great job with GW1, they have a lot of credit with me. I just feel 20 vs 100 situations (as is going on right now) shouldn’t happen in a balanced game.
It’s impossible to do anything but lose, not much fun in that, no matter how skilled you are you can’t challenge these many numbers, I don’t want easy mode, I want a real challenge, not a one sided coin like it is now.
Please fix this, it’s soul destroying.

No, you are nothing more than exaggerating a problem.
To be 20 vs 100 would mean that every single person on the enemy side is in that 1 specific attack (nearly impossible force to rally I don’t even know if a borderland can hold that much), it also means that your side has that amount of people minus 20 running around, if you really see 100 enemies attacking and only 20 present then you call for more.

I didn’t give exact numbers obviously, I’m not sitting there counting sheep. Can we talk about my suggestion and not the numbers I’ve given? In a balanced game you shouldn’t be able to be completely overrun. I’m pretty sure we are fighting atleast x2 the people we currently have, these kind of situations shouldn’t be happening in a balanced game.
I know this is not the problem of one world, I know a lot of worlds are facing the same problem.
It’s pretty much lame if your Server is mostly playing in ONE Time zone and then you have an opponent Server just crushing your whole server with a single guild having more people than you.
Thats why i think this restriction would implement ALOT of more fun if AT LEAST you have the same numbers on each side on everyones HOME BORDERLAND. EB can be ffa. But you shouldn’t have any disadvantage on your home because your server is sleeping.
As well i would finally implement an IP ban. Seriously ANET doesn’t want we play with NA people dungeons. Why are they allowed to play on our Server WvW then?! It’s totally imbalancing anything.

Umm hardly the other servers fault if you are outnumbered is it, so why should their player base suffer? Hopefully really low pop servers will be merged after paid transfers come in. Which would alleviate some of these problems.
I still think a meaningful outmanned buff would also help a bit.
You did took on consideration the consequences of your request , before you made the post ?
1. As far as i understand you ask to A-net to punish players that want to play WvWvW. If Server A got 500 players that want to play WvWvW , Server B got 450 players that want to play wvw , and Server C got 30 players that want to play WvWvW, your ideea is to put 470 players from server a and 420 players from server B on Queue . With all the respect, you look selfish, and players from server A and server B got same rights like you in this game, all players are equal
2. i cap home borderland with 100 players, move all ppls to other borderland, leave 1 scout on entire map, and enemy’s get kicked from the borderland and i keep all points?

Riverside and Blacktide have the same issue when we are fighting against Baruch Bay.
For us its the 3th or 4th week in a row.
Blacktide doesnt event take part in the WvW and Baruch Bay has 24/7 full servers an multiple zergs on each map. Thats because they have people from Canada, mexico spain and portugal and Riverside is a pure German server.
So they are capping everything in night while they still have the full amount on people during the day.

the best way to avoid being outnumbered is to stack on the top 3 servers with everyone else.
population imbalance is much less pronounced where the populations are large throughout the day and night.
But right now, 1h after reset, we have a queue on our own borders and our border completely turned green (WE ARE RED >_>), we play 20 vs 100 or something, it’s very disheartening and it destroys WvW on our world, I love WvW so much but week after week we have to put up with the same crap, it’s not even funny, it’s not balanced..
If your zone had a queue it was because you already had the maximum amount of people allowed. You could not have been outnumbered at the time.

The ONLY time I go through a 1 hour queue is when we’re encountering heavy numbers on our side in WvW.
