Anet’s excuse to not give stats in outnumbered is because they think it will get people telling others to leave so they can keep outnumbered.
Pretty much they don’t want to help servers during their dead times when they can’t even muster enough people to even remove outnumbered.

It is a valid concern albeit one i do not think would hold for the gw2 WvW community. I think in most cases the server with outmanned would trade stats for more players.

Outmanned makes WvW more rewarding.
The problem is it is exceedingly difficult to achieve anything when outmanned. So the buff really doesn’t help.
Outmanned is one of the few buffs that could actually justify a stat-boost because it wouldn’t result in snowballing. But we’ve been saying that since Orbs were still around.
It would be unfair and cause griefing of they gave the outnumbered stats, on the flip side its perfectly logical and fine to afford the winning team a greater advantage over bloodlust. In other news No sometimes means Yes.
To me it would make more sense to give the orb buff to outmanned, and the outmanned buff as orbs… But I might be delusional here

Well stats boost is not a replacement for players. Anets reasoning is weird to say the least.
Yes once again anet is clueless how how to balance their game. But no biggie i am sure they will add more and more pve to wvw as more and more people leave it.
Stat boost won’t scout.

You have a good point.
They could throw a bone and give it the stats of minor borderlands buff as well as the find stats….just make it so that it is overwritten when you have minor borderlands.
They should add an, “Outmanning” debuff.
