Look at how effective someone is in a full Dire set.
Nice balance.
Bug Fix:
Improved server performance in Siren’s Landing
Yeah thanks Anet……
Well, was doing guild missions when the patch hits, end up not getting credits cause guild functions disabled. They chose the most active time to patch the game, lolololol.
GG Anet for worst possible time for a patch.
You guys prefer 12 hours down a week for maintenance instead? Make it happen anet!

Yes, obviously that’s exactly the point of this thread…lol Seriously though, a little consideration and timing for WvW wouldn’t hurt instead of more blatant evidence of what we all know when it comes to WvW and it’s considered importance.
I just dont get these complaints. Yes you might get kicked while you play but that takes like 5min tops? Instead of scheduled 12 hours on a weekday. I prefer this over that.

The point is….do patch at a timing that has lesser people playing.
Because…..
Imaging having intense fights over a keep and then patch….that is so anti climax.
yeah you wouldnt know baboon as you;re always afking.
There was a patch before the NA reset.
This patch introduced the issue in Siren’s Landing.
So of course the problem was gonna get fixed asap no matter what. It was hindering players from doing things in the new map.
Would it be a good move to keep a map broken just to appease the 3 NA servers that even have queues on reset?

Then shouldn’t you criticize anet that made a patch that suppose to fix issue but break the game further?
Why are you criticizing the players for complaining?

No reason for a patch at that time – none.
Now you guys know the reason why they wanted to move reset nights to Saturday instead.
Although I still don’t see why any game company would want to roll out any patch late on friday, when there’s always potential for something to break and need emergency patching after, however minor it is. Diablo 3 just suffered from patching on friday and having an exploit available for the weekend.
Do it earlier in the day if possible, if it’s friday.
Do any patches on Tuesday at 4am CST. I mean really that was just some random time and day, but come on; Friday at 10pm????
A lot of games patch Tuesday morning, restart servers, maintenance, etc and are down for 2-3 hours in the quietest time of the week.
If Anet cared at all for wvw it would run on separate servers and not have to be closed down for a pve patch, which could be applied to wvw players as soon as they leave wvw.
Patching any time just after reset is just a bad idea, ruins play for hours afterwards.

Why does it have to be one or the other? It is anet’s fault for not properly testing their update before they released it and it would have been just as bad for them to leave a brand new map broken for longer than it needed to.
The point was that they interrupted all wvw activity during its PRIME TIME to put in a pve patch ???
Zero consideration about us wvw players from Anet honestly.

They should have tested the new content better, and released it on a Monday morning at 3am or something so that the few players at that time of day could report on the problems in a map, thereby allowing for the most populous WvW night of the week to go on unfazed.
Certain issues need to get resolved asap… let’s be a bit more rational and reasonable people.
As a game designer you would need to make the exact same decision, and pretty sure you’d want things like this fixed right away if it pertained to wvw…
Also, live is different than test, and unforeseen things happen… has nothing to do with dev negligence or incapability. Pretty ridiculous for some of you to think so, and not understand how it all works yet complain.

Sentry cap was a daily on Friday. Thanks to the patch, all sentries got reset. Thank you for an easy daily and killing the que temporarily Anet.
After reset means after 7 PM on a Friday night in ANet Land. Releasing the patch is not the end of the job. They have to make sure the patch did not break something unexpected. Waiting for hours to publish a patch so as not to interrupt play for a few minutes would mean people who can go home when the patch is done and checked can’t go home until well after midnight. RL trumps a few minutes in a bloody game. Get the job done and go home, devs. We’ll make do. If some of us complain, well, that’s life in the age of entitlement.
Ya it was BS! The fact that they had to boot everyone out of WvW on reset night of all things was just dumb. All for what some PvE content that did not work correctly? How about wait till like 3 am then do this? Just goes to show(at least imo) that Anet does not care that much about WvW. Sad but true….
There was a guy on one of the EU servers saying the DBL NWC lord was missing after EU reset and beyond. Hal in Ember Bay was missing too for 2 days. That patch I believe was the one that brought the missing npcs back, they did not specify how many were missing or which areas it affected. But, if everyone wants to say it was a pve patch that disrupted NA reset for a few mins, to each his or her own.

They actually posted that they were fixing something in PvE(some isle or Island). I saw it minutes after they posted it. If they did fix something in WvW it was not posted for NA updates or bug fixes.
