I don’t mind forking out some money for bank slots and more character slots, but more and more I’m thinking about buying diamonds to trade for gold so that I can pay for my repair bill in world pvp…

And while I’m at it, maybe I should buy some ballistas…

…and maybe some gear as well. ‘Cause it takes my necro 30 seconds to kill someone, and that’s some serious kiting, so it must be a gear thing, right?

…and maybe I should buy some siege stuff for the other casters on my side. Something with more than 1800 range, ’cause them rangers and that aoe they do sure does hurt.

…and then maybe I should buy some friends, ’cause I think most of the people on my server transferred to a winning one.

Sheesh… I think I’m gonna need a second job.

gold is really cheap now

It would be quite a bit cheaper to buy third party gold and transfer it into gems. Of course that would also break the ToS.

If you want everything right now (slots, siege weapons, and gear) you can pay now. If you are willing to obtain things a bit slower then you don’t have to pay anything.

The same goes for IRL…

run a few explorable dungeons.. they will give you about 26 silver and 60 tokens on completion, along with several items to disassemble. with the tokens you get exotic gear and weapons, and with the money you pay for wvw.

some explorables are really fast and easy, but ofc you need to check in LA which armor/weapons you actually want, and which dungeon you have to do for it.
