Perma Combat Location Tracker
Idealy that would be in the rings to cap points so you do not have an endless numbers of ppl contesting caps. In places like the outer walls or even inner walls there should be spaces for “rest” after dealing with waves of ppl attking or defing. But for sure caping or contesting a objectives’ cap point should be an act of combat.
Some of the lesser attks from sieges should not put you in-combat and should only have real effects during a fight such as gas from trebs and burning from morders. These should hit you but they should not do any thing beyond applying the effect and not full on dmg unless your being hit by something else or contesting / caping a point.
(A bit beyond just wvw cap points should act like this in wvw and pve you as a player are fighting the point you should not have endless hp and if that point become too much for you to hold due to not being able to get out of combat then you must get off of it)

Whether it should or shouldn’t put you in combat is in a bunch of other threads. I’m talking about finding places that can perma combat easily.
It probably won’t matter much since people will still be able to waypoint respawn.

So “rings” should put a zone into combat or perma combat but only when they are up.
