Aside from any progress made on your PvP dailies/monthlies, there isn’t really any way to know how much impact you had on the match, other then what you witnessed with your own eyes.
What I’m suggesting is, that upon exiting a WvW or transferring to another one, a popup display appears (could be turned off and accessed through a hotkey or whatever),
but essentially it would show the following:
- How many kills you had in total
- Assists in kills
- Objectives aided in capturing
- Siege weapons built
- Siege weapons destroyed/assisted in destroying
- Amount of XP earned/amount of money/karma (don’t include money made from selling items gained via looting)
- Perhaps which server killed you most (ie “Killed most by Maguuma”) or whatever.
- Supplies carried/used in total.
- Duration you were inside the warzone
- Time spent in combat
—— More things could be thought of to add to this list.
This would be something that, regardless of whether you spent 1 hour or 10, would allow for a more immersive experience, as you know exactly how much you achieved in the time you were in there.
Some people who spend prolonged periods of time in the match, will be at least able to screenie impressive scorecards, so you know what your personal best is and so forth.
I don’t see this being a ‘nuisance’ of a feature, as it could be made to be turned off and accessed through other means, and it would allow everyone to know how much weight they’re pulling. Additionally, al ot of this data would already be catalogued somewhere anyway, due to a lot of those things mentioned above tying in to dailies/monthlies.
Also, at the end of each match cycle, you should be presented with your ‘total kills’, ‘total assists’ and so on for the match. It’d allow us to keep track of our Kill-Death ratio’s, which could be important for some of the more ‘intense’/‘organised’ guilds.
