Well yesterdays evening was quite interesting. I discovered new tactic which is a very great way to fast regroup. It is called “Respawn at Waypoint”. It is much faster than “tactical retreat” but if u want to keep your morale on some lvl, do not try this at home.

Had fun tonight although short lived due to an appearance of an excruciating queue that appeared as the night progressed took almost 30 mins to get back into EB.
Who ever the DD Ele is from Gandara that fought my mesmer for up to 10 mins in a duel outside one of the keeps in EB in the ruins below that was the best fight iv had in a while i was unable to make much of a scratch on you but i held out a fair while longer than i expected, if your reading this i return your salute well played

Just had to drop in to say how proud my guild made me tonight. In the end we never managed to get Longview, but that t3 wall went down to 2% before the Piken zerg finally showed and wiped us. There have been a couple absences and departures recently but tonight a couple people stepped up and proved their leadership ability.
Oh, last night was amazing. I went to sleep 2 hours late then I should have because I had so much fun and didn’t want to stop. My favorite moment of the evening was when we wiped the zerg twice our size at Hero’s and then you just hear Noelson on TS – what the hell just happened?

Before this smearing escalates, I’d like to point out that Piken put up a respectable defense holding the lord’s room at Bay and Hills tonight on the Gandara border, it was a fun fight for Gandara too. Just as Gandara doesn’t want to be given a bad name due to the indiscretion of the few, I think our Piken opponents deserve the same courtesy.

Had a lot of fun with our GG raid tonight, had some epic fights. Special mention to guilds DL from Gandara, and LdF and NA from AR, you guys gave us the best fights of the night. Had an epic 5 minute fight with DL outside NW Camp, rushed down to the sentry near garrison to push another Gandara zerg, pushed them back, only to have the 40 we’d wiped respawn and push into us, and wipe us hard ^^ And sorry for hitting your flank at inner Hills LdF + NA, you guys had what, 50? Luckily we got in without any of your guys really reacting, because we only had 20. And that fight outside south gate Bay with you two as well? Also epic, thanks to TNTD for the assist on that one, you guys pushed us a lot harder there!
But holding Bay with 20 vs 60-70, for an hour with the 8 remaining GG online with some BOON, TNTD and friendlies was easily the highlight of the night. And special thanks to sIN for capturing that back about 15 minutes after Gand finally took it ^^

If so, my apologize. It’s rather late, bit sleepy. Touchy for obvious reason than I’m more than sure none of our wvw guilds would do that. At least if being aware of a hacking involved. With this particular cap it’s rather stupid to hack since we had both numbers and coordination to take upgraded garrison. Video you provided definitely shows a guild absolutely aware of a Mesmer going to jump like an antigravity ragdoll – and this is not our case, isn’t it?
And by guild I mean a living community, not a band of 2.5 cheaters jumping between servers. Every server can catch some of these someday.

Hackers and cheaters are on every server. The vast majority of us — on all three servers — deplore their behavior and do not tolerate it. We also do not judge an entire server by the improper and inexcusable actions of the few, for that demonstrates an inability to distinguish between fact and “that which is convenient to one’s emotional argument.”
Here’s hoping that those of you who are guilty of such false judgments eventually learn how to think logically. I promise it will help you in the real world, too.
Nice to see that we have all our guilds back in full swing now. Had some excellent fun last night in EB. We were getting bored of AR and Gandalf fighting between themselves so we went and killed the Grub with some ballista’s, then thought we might as well do the Spirit too. Still no action form AR or Gandalf so we all headed into the JP for 30mins to muck around. When we got out we decided to make a mini golem zerg, but were interrupted by AR trying to cap Gandalf’s Keep, well we know the Gandalfians wouldn’t like this so we killed the guys at the inner door and waited for their 2 golems to break the inner then killed them and capped it so Gandalf wouldn’t lose it to those pesky AR guys. Now after that little distraction we sent our golem army into action, 12golems and barely enough players to ride them. AR keep went down quicker than a hooker needing her next fix, Aldons was next. Took the long way round to WC then back to the keep and Jerrifers. We noticed Gandalf was taking advantage of our help by recapping their towers, a little thankyou would have been nice! Klovan killed our golems finally due to some noob mes dropping them under the oil(in my defence i swear someone said it had been taken out). So it was back to the old fashioned way of smashing the walls down. Now bored of the lack of fight from AR we built some more golems in SM and marched them to Gandalf’s keep(thats what you get for not saying ty for us saving it from AR!) Langor, Qeuntin, Duri and Brav fell soon after. Not sure what happened to the opposition but they were around as none we met had outmanned, but they never came out to play. Anyways a fun night for us, so ty AR and Gandalf for letting us have a night off from defending stuff so we could have some fun.

- the people on west SM wall a night or two/three ago
- to a warrior/mesmer duo I fought near SM last night
- and the Augury Ele I fought last night too, in NE Supply camp, near the cliff; loooong but nice fight!
- forgot to mention the cute underleveled person I waved to near Augury keep in EB, during which I got promptly nommed by an angry mob; you cried and mourned me; oh, if only we could be friends

So, there are abusing players with the same guildtag on two different servers fighting each other. Pretty much means its abusers that are more than likely not tied to these servers.

You can’t counter them without having the same type of experienced guilds so that’s definitely a problem for Gandara right now. That said, we are learning a lot and some guilds got motivated to build similar roam guilds as well now. It will take a while but we are determined to survive in T4.

Weird day on gandara, server just seems really demoralised and a pretty defeatist attitude knocking about.
Going from q’s on pretty much every borderland earlier in the week, to virtually no one outside of gandara bl and no q on home map.
Dont see any shame in losing to Piken and with AR afternoon / morning numbers we should be proud to be ahead of them.
Maybe people are just burned out or bored of fighting the same servers, hopefully get a more cheerful mood on the server tomorrow.
Some epic GvG fights this week. How gw2 should be played, time for them to add GvG scenarios people would watch that more over 5v5 esport bs, which has already died a death since first month. Yet Anet still bashing there head on brickwall over it seems.

It did feel quite empty on the Gandara BL tonight. We got some action eventually but for the first hour it felt as though we were wandering around aimlessly looking for something to do.
Good luck with building up some guilds Gandara! I can second what others say that once you’re running in (or leading) a tight, organised team, it’s some of the most fun you’ll have in the game. Learn from everything you see being done and try it yourselves. The stronger opposition we have to face the more fun we’ll have, too. It’s not fun to turn a corner and see your opponents retreat and scatter before even engaging. In the words of Sylas; “this might be suicide, I don’t care.”
And for Wam, it’s always a pleasure to work alongside TUP and Necrosis as well Love you guys
Will be posting a video on GvG friday will probably even make a thread so Anet gets the drift with which way the game should be heading. This game is called “Guild Wars 2” its all about the GvG it is so much fun and i would advise everybody to be involved in an organized guild if your not allready its the best part of the game.

Ehh not sure you are really correct there. I think people would prefer to watch 5v5, there is a lot more skill demonstrated in those game formats, as someone who has played both spvp and wvw. WvW is interesting for those involved, and it can be fun to watch zerg busting, but I dont think it could ever be something competitive or worth observing. There is a reason why almost all spectated game modes in all of gaming are 5v5 to 8v8. Spvp does actually have strategy whereas WvW not so much.

its the current structure that keeps me from spvp. straight up 5v5 or 8v8 or 20v20 is what I prefer.
there was a spectator system in gw1. where you could watch back ingame all different scales of pvp. Not sure if the smaller scaled pvp was more popular. Can some gw1 guru clarify?
You could only watch GvG and Hero’s Ascent matches with the spectator, which were 8v8 formats (with some 8v8v8 in Halls). Alliance Battles, Random Arenas, Team Arenas and Codex never had spectator. AB was 12v12, the others were all 4v4.
Problem with GvG spectatorship is that you need to know what is going on and how the game is played. sPvP has points won and capture places to keep track off. All you can see in GvG would be the dead lying around.
Now I would enjoy watching GvG more, since I’m playing that way, but I doubt those not involved could get as much into it without very good commentating! Also, I much prefer bashing heads myself!

I don’t think that WvWvW is suited as a spectator thing. A good siege over for instance Bay for instance:
a whole night of skirmishing to get all towers and all keeps on a borderland upgraded to tier 2 / 3.
a whole morning of finishing the upgrading of the tier 2 and placing of Siege weapons in them.
the hour or more of skirmishing for the breaking out.
the 2 hour Siege over Briar Tower.
the 4 hour Siege over Bay Keep.
That’s a summary of 1 of the best Siege’s i was ever involved in. In the end we as Gandara lost the Bay Keep and Fort Ranik could claim victory on that part of the map ( however they dropped below 100 points overall ).
Tell me, how can you get that into a video without an organiciation behind it. because you wil need to have multiple people frapping the action. And then you need a editor to make it into a video.
No, i do not think that WvWvW is something for spectators. But it’s more for participating.
By the way, i am not all for the guild vs guild in WvWvW. But if you really want to do it, do it over an capture point. Simple rule: the guild holding the capture point at the end of the 15 min tick is the winner.
And now i am going to think about how to get our forts and keeps to tier3 upgrading, since we are in imbalance lately during the night. Ít’s a lot harder to get our Gandaran Towers / Keeps up to tier 3 now. And to be honest: i don’t come to W3 to defend a tier1 Tower or Keep anymore. Been There done that.

Not all guilds can (or want to) field 30 ppl … give 15v15 also.
Tbh, I would rather they just gave us the maps and tools for us to decide the format of the battles.

To be honest – I would really like to see GvG implemented because it can get really frustrating to lose keeps and towers left and right and 30 people are just standing in the spawn dancing or costume brawling not being interested in fighting for the server. Some even had a nerve to ask people who actually want to do WvW to change map as their guildies are in queue…
Sure, everybody is entitled to have fun in it’s own way but for us who fought hard to bring server to this tier it is frustrating to get influx of tourists who couldn’t care less about anything other then their organized inter-guild fights.
Just make a separate large-scale GvG and let those who actually want to fight for points and capture towers and keeps on the map.

Some really nice fights for TUP this week, both with our smaller 10-man roamers and full 25-man warband. Particular mention to [LdF] (seen smashing into our flank in the above video) and [NOM], with whom we have had several epic fights. Also a big shout out to our brosephs in Semper Dius from Gandara.
meh all they really need to do is remove Karma from WvW, have a 20 min 15 min spawn sit timer where if you don’t leave the spawn area in 15 mins you get booted from WvW, remove the AoE cap from WvW and make it so that only siege can damage walls and gate, finally implement this topic: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/pvp/wuvwuv/The-weekly-matching-system-needs-to-change/first#post1178491.
As for GvG this would have to be server based only which would impact on server lag as well as remove a lot of players from WvW to the extent it would become an extension to PvE, so quite simply it’s either Server v Server or GvG, as to have both would make the game far to diversified and complex
