Haven’t seen a thread yet for this week, so figured I’d make one. And starting with an offensive statement from the get go:

What’s up with you two teaming up against Piken? We’re lowest in score, yet you’re still humping up our walls. This match is never gonna get exciting if you don’t challenge yourselves.

Also, anyone care to translate this into French/German? Heh.

PS: I’m actually enjoying most of the fights. It’s just a little too obvious that you two are teaming up. The moment we try to push towards an enemy tower, suddenly the other enemy shows up as well. Stalking much?

The French are taking revenge for the reset day.

They have to team up, otherwise they can’t stop us pushing out. They do it out of fear Even with both zergs attacking us we still manage to hold our own and wipe them continuously. Oh, and Augury might want to check their borderlands, didn’t realise green was the new blue.

Still, despite having a long Saturday of constant outmanned buffs, we’ve been having some epic fights. Many 3-ways going on!
I was pleased to see that, after spending ages trebbing it down and putting all the work in, Riverside didn’t allow Augury Rock to come along and steal Anzalias.

I hope all the whining comes to a stop and people enjoy the week for the great fights. Piken Square doesn’t have the 24hr coverage to win this week, same as last, but you’ll see us hopefully in full force around primetime

45 mins later your keep was permanent open on the south wall and you had nearly nothing on the map anymore.

and i can tell you, you will have to try even harder under the week to get your castle back on Eb i promise you

The thing with the hacking inside tower, i have the screenshots’s of the closed door with the guy runing up the wall and than porting inside the keep.

The tower was clear for long time because it was a t3 tower with 700/700, so no “forgetting” the mesmer inside the tower

it was bugg using and if you have interresst in getting the screenshot i send it to you

but i have to say we have great fun inside the battlefields ignoring the pointcounter.

ps: no we dont have an pact with blue, but given the fact that they running against black towers on our side and die while 15 guys defending them, its just easyer for the to atack atleast anything and thats in the end you because your tower are wood ^^

Ahaha, yeah, honestly, our organisation on Piken outside of the guilds isn’t prime. Big kudos to Riverside for that, you guys always seem to know what to do and get everything done whether or not there appears to be a commander present. I don’t think our random friendlies can keep up with these higher tiers, we climbed way too fast.

And in all honesty, I don’t want SM For winning points sure, but for the sake of fun? I’d nuke the kitten thing off the map. It somehow manages to soak up about 50 people running about inside repairing the walls like headless chickens.

But if you have genuine screenshots of wall-jumping or any exploits/hacking, let us know/show me. I’m sure none of our large guilds condone it, and even if it’s randoms, we’ll do our best to report.

Besides some not so funny bugusing and glitching, (no doubt the majority of PS is not supporting this, people like that are on every server now and then) it’s a really fun matchup.

No side is afraid of open field battles, and these are quite good indeed. I really enjoyed fighting TUP, heard some good stuff about GG but did not had the chance to meet them this weekend. I’m looking forward to some good fights as I stopped caring about points and score. There were great battles over supply camps yesterday in the PS borderlands.

In case it comes up. It was me who was stuck in the south door at main garrison of Auguryrock-BL. Someone repaired it, so it glitched me in. Tried to get out several times, but there was no way. I couldn’t port because I was in combat mode constantly, so I needed to hit some enemies through the wall and once they realised let them kill me.
Hopefully no bad feelings about “glitching into walls”, it was not intended by me.

When we played on AR BL (2 days ago), germans atk our corner and didnt gone to AR’s towers and Garrison. They both atk our Bay from north and south all time. Even NE camp didnt caped by germans 99% of time (but RS had the Etheron Hills)

Yesterday AR didnt have towers and keeps on their map (95% of map was green), but constantly atk our keeps/towers on PS BL and EB

Piken always atk any enemy, without cooperation with other enemies. Just FFA.

We do not have and we will never team up with anybody, especially not with frenchies. Our first encounter in GW2 was the Zergball of Death from Vizunah Place and when i can tell one thing to the OP, then it is that we do have some open depts with french servers. Even when the thought is tempting sometimes on the battlefield but there are no agreements whatsoever.

Well, that was a very interesting night in EB, involving naked girls and ginger bread…
Won’t go into details ^^

Decided to check on EB at around 3-4 am, since I was clearly awake and could not catch my sleep. Found out that our whole third was green, and I didnt quite like it. Called a few friends in and started recapping our stuff (5 man commander party ftw).

Our original plan was to ignore our keep and just rush SM cause why the kitten not. But taking out the oil and cannons took longer than expected, so our golems just took our keep in the time it took to take oil/cannons down. (kitten lvl 82 guards)

Tried the green keep, but you do seem quite fond of it, so took wc instead. luckily you were busy trying to retake klovan from the frenchies, so you didnt rlly care about the t3 tower on the other side that was being taken. (TY!! AR, for finally hitting something that is not red.)

Started upgrading everything before I left, really curious to see how it will be when i come home in about 7 hours…

Haven’t seen anything special from RS yet. Just infinite numbers. I miss Kodash. So glad we will get them next match-up.

I have to agree tbh we steamrolled their BL on reset and 100%‘d their map, they were there but just just didn’t seem to be able to put up much resistance.

Then on Saturday night we went into FR BL and took Riverside’s Hill Keep and decided to camp it and omg it turned into a wipe night for them.

First 4 wipes on the bridge to the boss room, stopped at the door, HoB comes in from behind and BOON pushes out at same time, after the second time we were man they did it again, after the fourth time we were wtf! So we started to see where else we could wipe them from after that, hiding behind the door, above the steps was just crazy but kudos to them they kept on coming all night relentlessly and they got the keep at the end of the day, 5 mins after we all left o/

Jame made a movie, but there was so much wiping she had to make it 20 mins to try and fit it all in!

too bad i can’t watch these videos since they’re blocked in germany.

maybe you noticed that we had most of our force in AR BL after reset (which were green short afterwards) and left our BL to a small group and some pugs. it was a mistake and we did not adjust accordingly, but i think we have learned from that and it will not happen again next time.

Nice to see AR constantly going around mopping up after RS, they wont take a keep on unless it’s just been taken over by RS. Do you fear us or is it RS are allowing you to do this to help you make up points coz they sure as hell aren’t defending them. Also the fact that RS never touched AR borderland in over 10hours yet saw fit to take most of EB and their half of PS border, and not once did they try to take anything owned by AR except in EB. I know it’s a 3 way battle but this is so blatantly you 2 trying to push us down. 4 hours it took you to take our Keep in EB with only 8 of us defending against your 30(how many golems, trebs, rams, cats, bali’s did we destroy? enough to have stocked our border fully)

Its not exactly rocket science… being in second place means that you will be targeted by both first and third. For number one, keeping the gap between yourself and second is most important. And for number three, closing the gap between yourself and second is most important. Aside from that, I would take it as a compliment that they take the time and effort to focus us. Actually means that we are worth it.

Yeah but we’ve been in 3rd place for several hours now and it still hasn’t changed. Tbh if RS keep this up we might still have a shot at 1st seeing as they not that far ahead, if only we can keep our stuff through the night.

Even if Pike goes up in points, they not only have to catch but put atleast 50 k on top of that to not drop a breaked.

We aren’t bothered about points anymore, we actually want to go down a tier to be honest, we don’t have the population to reliably compete at this level. Wiping you all off the map during primetime doesn’t make up for the 14 hours where we don’t have a significant presence

But GG on yesterdays action, was a good day for Pike.

Just a quick shout out to everyone on RS BL last night, we’d had enough of farming AR BL the past ew nights and got sick of seeing RS sit in thier pretty fully upgraded map so thought we would pay them a vist with others and turn it to wood for fun.

Nice hold out at Hills first time round and kudus for all the effort RS and AR put in at attackign garrions and bay after we had the three keeps undercontrol, some nice threeway action inside the inner garrison at times, real crazy stuff, so much fun o/

Too bad we lose it all 5 mins after we call the raid, but thats life on PS and we wouldn’t have it anyother way tbh.

PS my fav keep takes we had last week vs FSP plenty of defenders there and no golems! But yeah no doubt the germans can even see them,, bah

Today’s fights on East Keep on AR borderlands were epic. I didn’t even checked when the RS guys destroyed inner north gate and went to the lordroom as we we’re fighting the red wave on stairs. Finally we took back the East Keep then we went to garisson and the whole french map was red for few minutes. Generally it is another exciting week for our guild. Respect for green and blue teams.

That is someone from my guild so I’m going to try find out who it is. I don’t recognise their sprite/character at all. That teleporting/lagging is beyond suspicious.

Thankyou for the Fights AR & RS All night long, Plenty of Action. Spreading the love around no longer leaving the germans out and just focusing the french as we don’t discriminate.

We’ll find out who it is snizzle, report them, kick them, and then blacklist their unique ID. We don’t tolerate hackers, and they certainly aren’t a valid representation of the guild or the server in general.

It ain’t me, nor do I know who it is in that movie Snizzle posted, just to point that out!

But that ain’t any sort of hack, it’s server lag, and It have been going on a lot the last few days in EB (Not sure why). But I see plenty off people from RS and AR make these lag jumps too, sometime’s large groups, other time’s just a single person! So probably not something the player is doing! I’m glad we have such a strong fair play spirit here on Piken, but don’t turn it into a unjust “Witch Hunt”

While the video above doesn’t really show any obvious hacking(it could very well be server lag), there’s a video that we’ve seen that must be some sort of hack. At the very least we’ll have to find out who this is.

Yeah, but that’s pretty much what we see in the movie Snizzle posted, that he just lag a bit foward, got a lot of footage (cause I’m makeing a PvP movie these days) where that happen a lot of time
That said, that movie you posted Winneh, seems like a speed hack of some sort! Clearly no class can make some of the movements at seen in the movie, and that really sucks!

Hopefully this will be resolved in the right manner. Hacks ruin the game for everyone, and should not be tolerated.

Please refrain from posting videos that show people hacking or cheating as it is considered character assassination. Use the in game report tool and the hackers will be dealt with.

Dear Moderator,

Surely posting a video with some dubious activity in it is good for monitoring illegal behaviour? As a community we like to try and assist ANet in removing cheats from the game, and Piken Square likes to be proactive in this matter. The videos do not show individual characters names as everyone is merely a Piken Square Invader, so how this can be considered character assassination I am uncertain, but they do alert guilds to the possible presence of cheaters within their ranks which they can then deal with as they see fit. I’m pretty certain that all guilds would like to be made aware of these situations, but very often will need some kind of empirical proof before they take any kind of action. These screenshots and videos are a good form in my opinion.

A bit overdue, but meh, been busy…

It was our pleasure supplying the golems and making something like this possible. It just shows how dedicated PS can be, staying up way longer than normally, jus to close the? gap between PS and AR. It was very satisfying to see us jump up 10k and overtake AR, then to see us expand even further throughout the following days.

Now that was the original post i had, but forgot to post it, then pc crashed and what not else…

In response to the hacking GG member, we know who it is and shall act how we think is fit.
This means he got 1 warning, which will be the only warning he gets, if we see him do it again, he will be reported by all of us and kicked. So far only me and my 2nd in command know who it is, and we would like to keep it that way. No need for calling names or flaming.
We like to keep our name high in the WvW scene, so just a reminder: GG does not tolerate hackers and will act accordingly.

This however does not mean our ownage that night was less deserved, cause it was. TY everyone for staying up late, helping GG achieve this awesome result. We could not have done this without you!

Furthermore I’d like to thank Murael who is the least mentioned person in this all, but did supply at least 15 golems.

PS are on the up. The other day we were -25 points and it wasn’t looking good. Since yesterday we’re now up +9.6. Now that’s a turnaround although I’m not sure what’s causing it.

Kinda hard to catch up seeing how every time PS gets better the other two servers become BFFs and down we go again.

And please don’t say it’s not true, I don’t play that much but every time PK pushes one server the other shows up and sanwiches them. That happen literally every time. And you know, first time is ok, second is a conicidence, but what follows is obvious.

Hey i must say sorry for ninjaing SM early this morning, there were 5 of us on in total RS had about 8 and AR had 6. We weren’t aware of the fact alot of people couldn’t get back online after logging off. So we just noticed you didn’t really challenge us when we took other things. The guys you did have on didn’t even notice as they were doing something similar to AR. After SM we then took Duri and Brav, with AR actually trying to stop us. Don’t know what had happened to the RS guys but we did lose our supply camps a couple of times. Taking AR Keep proved a step too far as it took so long myself and another had to log out, so only 3 were left. Again sorry for taking SM at such a time(tbh if i had of known the problems we would have taken everything earlier rather than build siege in our towers and chat), but then everything is fair in war and your guys could have stopped us but didn’t notice.

It looks like we will fight Piken Square again next week. Last week was great, intense battles and good spirit everywhere. Keep it up, see you guys on the battlefield tonight.

The biggest problem is number 1.

We came across someone hiding in a Keep wall a few days ago. No servers, guilds, or names mentioned but we had a hell of a time trying to keep them as a target to report them. Mesmer, creates illusions, npc’s kill illusions too quickly for us to keep target click & report.

Anet, there must be a way of refining your reporting system to avoid this type of issue?

No one likes cheats, but we hate not being able to report them even more

You do realise though that it is a common bug for people to get trapped inside a wall when it re-spawns and people are inside the gap?

Id hardly say its an exploit or cheating it happens quite often especially when a group is trying to get through a wall breach and even defenders get trapped whilst somebody is repairing that section of wall but rarely are you able to actually do anything but jump about inside.
