Hey, so in my recent WvWvW match, the catapult show up as pink for some reason.

I don’t think this count as a bug as when I asked about it on the map, another person say the catapult seen in his/ her screen was normal looking (wooden and brown).

I was just wondering if anybody else encounter something similar to this. I’m getting a feeling something is up with my graphic card and I really hoping this is an one off thing (the catapult continue to shown as pink when I was in the Vinewrath after the WvWvW match).

never seen that before, have you tried relogging and trying to look at another catapult? sometimes relogging helps fix these little glitches.

It is a corrupted texture. Do a -repair build of your GW2.dat file.

I’m playing on windowed fullscreen and if on loading screen I alt+tab to some other program that is fullscreen mode (not windowed) I get all kinds of funky texture loading failure things. Sometimes everyones weapons are funky pink or all the NPC’s are solid chrome, etc. It’s kinda cool, everyone should try it out

PS. So yeah, looks like for a reason or another, your GW2 couldn’t load the catapult texutre and it looks like that. Reseting the game should do it.

I have a habit of pressing the start button on my keyboard (take me back onto desktop with the start options are display) especially on long loading time. I guess that could be the cause of it.

Siege deployed by upleveled players in EotM gets displayed in pink now.

Weirdest I’ve seen are Flame Rams not completely loading. Flame rams are literally made of flame.

You can change the color of golems using the sparkfly fen potions you buy from karma vendor. Sanctum of Rall is infamous of running a rainbow golem squad. We use these potions to customize the look of our machines.
