Can someone enlighten me as to what the pirate meta is?

Ranged zerg vs zerg fights. As if 2 pirate ships shooting cannons at eachother.

Pirateship meta is neither melee being able/willing to engage because they will get instantly one shotted by enemy zerg.
ways to enhance pirateshipmeta:

• Venom thieves with immob for necrowells
• Commanderfocus and melee running too squishy
• Clouding, which is part of normal fights as well
• Bombing directly on enemy commander

Ways to counter pirateship:

• Durabilityrunes/mallyxrevs
• Veils/portals
• judges intervention
• running tankier comp
• Auramancers
• superspeed such as scrapper
