Player Bounty in WvW
While I think it is an interesting idea….one situation pops into my mind…
People who run siege weapons would have crazy high bounties, compared to people actually fighting. I don’t think someone sitting on a ballista is worth 10+ badges just because they were using a ballista….so maybe you would have to exclude siege kills? Or make it like 1 badge per 4 siege kills or something.
I like the idea of bounties or guild/player WvW ratings.

I say if this would be the case they should allow the badges to be put up on Trading Post…
let me make a alt account first, ill swap deaths with you everyday.
This is giong to be farmed like hell if implemented .

I’m not entirely sure, but there might already be a Bounty system in place. It’s not pronounced as a system like this. This is speculative based on what Anet has said.
Anet has said that an enemy that have been up longer have a larger experience bonus reward. After 1000’s of kills in WvW. I noticed that the Bonus XP gained varies a lot. I also noticed that the higher bonus XP often has a loot bag, and even higher tends to have better chances of a badge.
If this is the case where another player has been on the battle field longer(no dying) and maybe more kills. They are becoming worth more with increased odds of a badge.
It’s only observed speculation of course. It could be what I am seeing is based on relative level. Being level 45 it could be level 80’s getting killed that are worth more with increased badge drops. However, I hear level 80’s raking in badges.
