Players crossing the "invunerable line" right before they die.
I hope this is sarcasm.
no, he probably just wants to feel the excitement of being able to camp their only waypoint and kill them one by one, because THAT’s real skill ;-)
apart from that: legendary defenders are to extreme. they should just push you back a few dozen feet and damage you heavily (ie 33% for slow learners) but not instakill. first time wvw I didn’t know just how strong they were (yes, ‘deals massive damage’ is kind of a hint, but the same description is given for shades, which are easy ;-) )
negative. there are places in combat areas that overlap with the invulnerable zone of the defender’s home base. not that this issue is a tremendously huge priority with everything else going on…. IJS.
Too be fair those shades aren’t legendary.

yeah, that must be it =) but still, they’re invulnerable and the players too, it’s not necessary for them to oneshot everyone as well, knockback would work just as well without punishing players for not knowing they are gods (especially as they look just like ordinary veterans or champions). or at least write ‘kills instantly’ in the description. I only figured out what happened (tried to ress someone) after reading the combat log and watching others dieing
pvp is, well, in mmo games at least it’s dang near always been borked. if there is some kind of advantage to be had that is somewhere, hm. outside the bounds of what would make a fun game for everyone involved, that advantage will be taken and exploited once discovered, because winning is more important in a player versus player environment than things like sportsmanship and an immersive gameplay experience.
but you never know. monkeys may fly….
oh and i forgot to mention. things like learning how to step up the game, push through and be better out of one’s gameplay skill….. my mistake ^^

Seriously, dev’s what the hell is going on here? Why in the world is there a line a defending party can cross so they can go invuln when their base is getting attacked.
What the hell kind of PvP is that?
Two possibilities:
– Your team is winning so much that the only place they have left is their spawn.
– Your team is so stupid that you’re trying to hit them at their strongest point when there are easier places for you to cap.
If it’s the first, congrats. You’re winning. Winners calling for their enemies to be nerfed is never a good look.
If the second, the problem is with the people on your team. Not the invulnerability effect. So learn to play the game.
Either way, stop complaining.
