I thought players that quit (Alt-F4, jump BLs, etc) were supposed to still die and drop a bag. For some reason since I came back after the HoT patch players that quit are no longer dropping a bag. I have seen too many quits now to think it is a fluke.

Am I mis-remembering them fixing this issue, did they break their fix, is there some exploit or am I hallucinating?

No, it’s just some players found another way.

When in the down state, these soar losers press B and click the Leave the Mists icon in the bottom right corner of the window. They leave WvW whilst still in combat without consequence, and you lose your well deserved xp and loot.

We have reported this to anet months ago, several times, and they still have not fixed it. Which in anet’s history of fixing bugs with WvW is just what we expect from them.

Let’s hope they don’t fix it. With their track record their ”fix” will be to remove fighting in WvW so no one ever goes into the downed state.

When players do this it makes me laugh and wonder what they feel they ackomplish. They still lost the fight, and avoid stomping might boost their own morale, but in my mind i just won a second victory.
