rather do it the other way round , if the maps are getting bigger the commanders only can buy these tempory waypoints to place down that still suffer the contestion rules but it also requires Supplies so it will need enough players to bring in enforcements.
Better idea it would be awsome if you could buy a item and when you use it you can teleport commander to you

ya if anyone could buy the "seige waypoint item " it would cause a lot of problems.
if only commanders could buy it and it would cost a lot more than a omega golem proberly like 8g per one or a good long list of materials for the mystic forge , the average player won’t go to all that effort for personal use and would only do it to give to the Servers commanders.
the teleport would also be contested instantly inside Opposing keeps as you don’t own the keep one more problem solved.

No, PvP happens in PvP zones. Be aware of your surroundings, learn to pan, watch for call outs from scouts, and watch the map it’s pretty easy to figure out where the enemy will be at any given time in EotM.
This is a perfect example of how EotM has wound up being a failure, wanting to port to a close location to the Comm to avoid all of the risk part of WvW. Please dear god don’t let the new map or if they come up with a new match system be anything like EotM.

And it is good thing to promote small scale I would do everything if wvw would be full of 15 man groups running around I would be soooooo happy
Well, that depends on your definitions, as 15 man are very much a zerg to me (small scale being ~1 full group), but you get the general idea.

in Edge of the Mists finding commander and trying to go to him is a disaster. If he is far away from base- you will be murdered by other teams countless times while you going to him. it happens alot to me and its really frustating,
my idea is just put a teleport item to a NPC anyone can buy that item and use it to spawn near the commander’s current location
As others have mentioned above, there would be a whole stew of problems with that. Single thief hid inside a keep, and can put on a cmd tag, and then everyone can teleport right into the keep.
Also this is a PvP map, you should expect to face PvP, regardless of how the map is being played. If the map had any reason or benefit to defend, you could have joined in the defense of one of the nearby objectives until the CMD returned to spawn again. Unfortunately EotM have no reason to do anything but flip objectives, a terrible waste of an excellent map.
The simplest solution is just to sit and wait until the CMD comes back.
