Please show server name for every player

It’s visible in squads but not in parties afaik. But yes, pretty please let us see the server of a person directly.
I agree with this, it would further support guild invites that stick. Nothing like adding a bunch of good wvw and then delinking and realizing you need ton clean up have a dozen. (For wvw only guilds, not an issue with pvx)

That’s the point.
This will enable guild to check if guildies are on same server or not. which is very critical for some wvw guilds.

If you’re in a guild, you can also collect an API key and check the server via an API request ( https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/API:2/account ). Nevertheless, that this is the easiest way to do it, is another argument that this feature would be very helpful. What do you think about a server tag ([FR],[DL],[VAB]) similar to guild tag?

An even easier was is to go to https://leaderboards.guildwars2.com/en/na/achievements
and log in, check by guild.
In your friend list, or guild member, or whatever user list. When you mouse hover on name. You normally get display name and online status
but on some name, It also show Server Name. but some are not
Why?
Can I have it to show server name on everyone? (or just in guild member)
And would be great if it shown which guild they representing (for whom not representing guild)
You can only see the server the person is when it is on WvW or instance (in this case it will be the homeworld of the instance host) and the person have you added back in their friend list. People that you can only see the display name are people that don’t have you added and people on PvE aren’t shown in a server because of Megaservers. Also, for whatever reason, sPvP is always shown as (Anvil Rock) regardless of the server the person belong.

and what’s cool is that people in your friend list that are on the enemy team can be generally located by BL. If they are on YOUR bl for example you can see that.. (IF you are a linked server member and not the host server member). Once again not well thought out by ANet I think… If I know one of my ‘friends’ is in a zerg and I see he has gone to a specific BL then I will know whether or not I should also go there.
It’s not an exploit or a hack.. it’s simply what ANet has allowed in their programming by making linked servers have NO home.
