It is possibly being used and abused in WvW. There is no reason at this point to keep server transfers open.

I doubt the free transfers will end anytime soon. Server populations need to be balanced more before that happens.

I’m kind of surprised they have kept them open so long. I was expecting them to be closed after about a week.

It would be nice to at least see them place some limitations on transferring to higher population servers, such as having to have a contact on that higher server to tranfer there (so people getting it late can still play with friends). You have servers with long queues, and then you have servers like Kaineng without enough people around, yet people still flock to the higher pop servers. Hopefully the reopening of digital sales will help those out on those low pop servers.

I can’t really comment on the abuse of it though.

Once they get the Guest system fully working properly they’ll turn off the free server transfers.

Heh. And to think. I got in a huge argument with a friend who waskitten you wouldn’t be able to play with friends in WvW across different servers…
