Never in my life have I seen so much qqing. You guys would find something to complain about no matter what you’re doing. I hope Anet recognizes that a huge portion of its player base is a bunch of whiny kids and doesn’t take all the criticism to heart. While some of it is helpful, so much of your crying is ridiculous. You don’t need to make your own thread every time a warrior, thief, necro, or mesmer rolls you in WvW. You don’t need to make 18 threads blasting season 1. We get it.

Keep up the great work Anet. You can’t get a hit if you never step up to the plate. Thank you for fostering an environment where the players can interact with the developers. I’m sorry you have to read people’s unfounded complaints everyday.

This thread is going to get locked im sure. Let me point out that your server is winning the bronze league and people are giving feed back, not always constructive feedback but feedback non the less, when people stop posting that’s when you have a real problem.

Clearly you’ve never played LoL.

My server is TC. I transferred to HoD after season started.

Edit: I don’t think there is any danger of there being too few posts. Maybe there should just be categorical threads for people to qq in as opposed to letting everyone start their own thread.

The answer is no, first I’ll point out that the WvW community is not the enitre player base, second I’ll point out that the forum posters are not the entire player base.

Without complaints you cannot fix something you may have missed, Dev’s are human and yes they do miss things. I’ll agree that alot of the complaints are silly but that does not mean they should all be ignored. To put on your blinders and turn your cheek to some of the glaring issues being complained about is more of a problem then the complaints themselves.

Yes the player base is disappointing. They don’t play with enough strategy.

well, I’ll pose this question to you, what game would you consider more successful, a game that has a forum loaded with threads that have complaints ….or a game that has a dead forum with maybe 1 or 2 discussions ?

I’m pretty sure the complaining will die down over time though.

Really great question. I think I’m just going to not answer that great question. I understand the underlying argument, because not only has everyone in this thread made the same argument so far but I also foresaw such an obvious argument being offered in response to this thread. I mean it’s a stellar argument and I hope more people make it. Clearly the question is not could people complain a little less, but, actually, would you rather not have complaints at all? I’m no Albert Einstein, but I can envision a WvW discussion forum that is active while not being completely full of individuals creating threads to voice their personal complaints. Of course that is but a fool’s dream, because, alas, a forum can only be filled with complaints or dead. Woe is me.

Well, I kinda have to agree with capmasterflash. It is allways funny to see a thread explode, where the OP stated: “Stealth needs nerf” in a 2 sentence post. While there are many great suggesitons and analyses out there that get no recognission. Threads with constructive feedback die in 1 or 2 days, while the latest anti-stealth thread, the latest anti-warrior thread and such get replies after replies after replies. And most of those replies are not better than the original statement.

Don’t get me wrong, you can complain about stuff all u want. I just hope that the ANet Forum Guardians can pick out the jewels of the posts and threads in all that chaos of complaints and deconstructive forum behaviour. Tough job, I don’t envy them.
