Population balance - F2P only on mid pop
It’s too late already.

I’m not sure I agree as F2P accounts will continue to be made both now and in the future.
Just to clarify I am only suggesting the initial creation of free accounts should be restricted only to mid pop servers – much in the same way as you are unable to transfer to full servers. What happens to the server status after would not affect accounts that have already been created.
That wouldn’t be fair, unless an exclusive server is designated for free accounts, because those accounts cannot transfer. They would be stuck forever on those servers unless they upgrade the game.

Why would we want a bunch of f2p noobs and spies? Make silver league take them!

Make Germany and Sweden take them! /sarcasm

the better way is for ANET to implement some way for newly paid accounts that were formerly f2p to re-select their world since they didn’t really have a clue where they would end up when choosing as a new player, especially since that choice is meaningless until they were at least lvl 60. The whole selecting your world before character creation at this point post mega-servers makes no sense and they have admitted as much but I guess it is buried too deep in the code/logic to get back out again.
I still think people are being super paranoid about all these f2p accounts flooding WvW even when some worlds would love to see that happen just for some variety.

Just don’t give them a server at all until they upgrade. Make their accounts work like the megaservers, every time they hop into WvW they end up on a random server.
This lets actual f2p players experience WvW and get a feel for the different tiers, but it’s more trouble than it’s worth for current players to try and use these accounts to spy.
