Although I respect that the majority of the players of this game are probably not of my religion, thereby making this a non issue for them, I would like to request that the WvW reset be moved one day over to either Thursday night or Saturday night. Currently it is on Friday night, which prevents myself (and any other observant Jews) from participating in WvW for the first day, which largely seems to be a major determinant of the outcome for the week. For the past 3 weeks I have signed on Saturday night and gone to WvW by which point the good majority of all maps have been under the control of one world. If this might cause a clash with other people, then perhaps make WvW reset on a 6 or 8 day schedule so that it rotates around the days of the week.

Otherwise, appreciate and enjoy the game very much, keep up the good work.

“Personally I think Friday is a great day. It works because its the beginning of the weekend in NA and for overseas its Saturday night, so its a good time when everyone has a chance to hunker down and play video games.

The first couple of nights are crucial in the WvW match, so it makes sense to have the reset coincide with when most people are available to play seriously for a good amount of time."

For UK reset is 1am Saturday & would be later for rest of Europe. Which means our server, which doesn’t have much of a night crew, invariably wakes up at the start of a new week last in the rankings by too great a margin to catch up.

Unsurprisingly fewer & fewer players show up each week… :P

Ideally, the first day of a match shouldn’t be this important. This is (supposed to be) a two-week long fight, and if the fight is determined in the first day something’s wrong with Arena’s system.
