Please post your league(gold, silver or bronze), the rank of your server and the rewards you got so we can compare(and can be happy or not that hopefully the better ranked servers did not get too much more rewards for better coverage).

I’ll start:

EU Silver League, 9th ranked(Underworld)

I also had 1 “Berseker Rifle” blue level 80 item at the log. Don’t know if it was from the chest or from some other stuff because I was pveing and getting a lot of loot.

I really dont understand the greens in the rewardchest. Are they mocking us? I am not complaining about the amount of rewards we got but what’s with the green items?

There is no Bronze Finisher. Only Gold and Silver.

Why is there “II place finisher” locked in finisher tab?

I guess Devon should have worded the mid-season report like this …

“On top of that, participating players on the top world in every league will be receiving a special finisher that represents their success. Remind your enemies of your battlefield prowess A WHOPPING 250 TIMES with a gold, silver, or bronze finisher!”

Well, I now have Urchin’s needles to put on what ever character I am playing to do a condition build with. Granted, it gotta be a character capable of using a speargun.
Seriously, how hard would it have been to give away some tiered amount of gems? That would have been something, you can call a reward.

Some junk I’ve already broke up/sold, some useless junk and a temp finisher. As a PvEer it’s good news for hardcore WvW players: I wont be back for season 2 so you’ll have less headless chickens like me running around.

I only went for the chest expecting something unique and permanent.

It’s funny because AC P1 (15minutes) Gives you more worthy rewards than WvW season chest. Hilarious. Good job arena net, good job.

Only 1st place in each league receives a stack of finishers. The guy from Bronze that said he didn’t get finishers above corrected himself.

It seems only 1st place worlds got an exotic weapon. This is so dumb… These rewards can be obtained in a fraction of the time it took to get the achievement through champion farming. Anet needs to think about this stuff before putting it out….. The very fact that they gave greens is disappointing.

I think one thing people should keep in mind is that releasing rewards that everyone gets at the same time can be damaging to the economy. Something account bound like achievement skins might have been a good option for them, but its not like they were going to flood the market with exotics.

That sounds like it would’ve been a better route to take, rather than a handful of greens and yellows.

Giving out rewards that a player can acquire in literally a few hours was bad decision making on Anet’s part.

i think the problem is, so far, this is the only big thing WvW brings. In the past year+ this is the biggest thing you can aim for in WvW. and looks like there isnt that much reason to aim for it.
WvW could use some unique cosmetics, and more balanced rewards. They also could at the very least have given enough dragonite for one ascended item. it was a 7 week achievement, better yet give 1 vision crystal.

the best thing from the chest is probably the tomes.

Honestly though, loot was ok. I didn’t expect too much. But I heard about some people who got 3 exotics, and someone who got precursor. Also people seem to have gotten different amount of rares. Let’s say if amount of exotics and rares were equal throughout, it would have been really good. Other than that, it was ok.

Yea we get better rewards from doing the Mad King than this 7 week haul… awful.

I imagine all the tranfers sitting under the Wintersday tree to find that Toymaker Tixx rewarded them with coal for their misdeeds.

+1 to Drigan: Guess that’s a lesson for some, eh. Your comment about the gems stands so true… food for thought…

On the other hand, about rewards…
+1 to phys: it is true, we often get exotics for PvE meta achievements that let you pick the stat for it, or fractals that gave you a bag of ascended materials. This was a 7-week long league, and one of the only really big events we’ve had since launch… So would’ve been nice hehe, oh well.

In the end… still prefer my super adventure box finisher.
