Silver Squire rank 959, by my count a total of 1 exotic and 20 – 30 rares in that span. WHERE’S MY ASCENDED WEAPON AND/OR ARMOR CHEST!? -Pouty face-

I understand the rewards are random and I by no means expect to get an ascended chest… But… Seriously? Almost rank 1,000 and SERIOUSLY? ) :

I am bronze something I only got two ascended drops :-P

rank 650+ and 4 ascended chests and a ring till now. If I remember correctly 3 armor and 1 weapon.

Bah, darn the both of you, lol. I’ll backflip and play an original symphony the day I get an ascended chest in one of my rank up’s… Let’s just hope I don’t get slapped in the face and get something terrible like cleric stats | : -Crosses fingers for Rabid-

Well I’ve gotten a ring, piece of armor, and weapon but they all have been terrible stats like clerics.

Rank 1081 and so far 5-6 ascended boxes and couple of rings – Also quite few exotics and rares etc. Still aiming on a precursor.

Edit: Would be nice if we could choose our own stats on it, yes looking at you fractal ascended box!

170+ bronze invader I think, so far one ascended drop a few weeks ago in EotM, a ring I actually could use on one of my toons…surprising to say the least.

ANet has never built a decent loot engine. GW1 was really bad and GW2 while better is still horrible.

It boils down to less crap loot and better drops over time. Most players want to feel like every kill could generate an item they will actually use. With few exceptions every toon I have is geared with items I bought from a vendor… and I have every class at 80 fully geared some with full ascended.

Rank 440 and have gotten one Ascended armour box (stats I don’t use) and three rings.

I’m 1370, and I’ve gotten a few ascended rings (One Rabid, one Rampager and one Knights). No armor or weapons…

I got a bunch of Rares, and a few exotics along the way too…

My rank is 451 and I have gotten two ascended stuffs, one ring and an ascended weapon chest.

It’s hard to imagine that even after 900 ranks, you didn’t get one O.o

@Straegen The difference was in gw1 it really didn’t matter. You could build a new character and have him fully leveled with BiS gear in a day. Everything after that was just cosmetic.

Gw2 is all about time gating and grinding for incredibly ugly BiS gear that you have to pay money to transmute.

Rank 1200, one ascended armor chest (good stats though) a thousand ranks ago, countless exotics, two precursors.

Oh, and countless ascended rings, lots of which I actually use.

Rank 600+ and one ascended armor chest (with useless stats).

Well, personally I don’t find the HART that stagnate. But that’s just me

No, you’re not alone OP. I can’t remember my rank at the moment but I’ve never gotten anything beyond a rare in my rank up chests. I can’t even look forward to them anymore because they’re always just disappointing. Blah.

Rank 1400+ currently, you would think a gold rank would have netted me more, but nope. 1 ascended chest (sent), 1 ascended weapon (valk), 4 exotics all told, bout 20 or so rares and a kitten load of greens.

It’s completely unacceptable. The drop rate really needs to be buffed. Firstly because wvw players make about 10% of what pve players make and 20% of what pvp players make. Secondly because the game mode is dieing. A nicely buffed drop rate would attract players back to wvw.

~300, one zoijas armor box (after I got it I remade my entire build around it lol (cries i’m poor))

i’ve also gotten a coalforge’s weapon box from wiping an enemy zerg

Never got ascended weapon/armor chest from the rank up chest….
Several (about 5-7) ascended trinkets.

Maybe, once I reach Diamond rank, I’ll finally get ascended chests from the rank up chests lol

Rank 157. Got 1 Ascended chest (Ebonmane’s) and a couple of Ascended rings so far.

5 armor’s (2x Wupwup, 2x dire, 1x assassin.)
1 weapons (knights)
3 rings (might be more didn’t want to check all 7 chars)
1 trinket

only 2 of the armors where of use, (celestial for my ele) wish i could trade the others for a more useful stat.

I got one ring that Ive never used from a WvW chest. I’ve spent far less time in pvp and I have 3 ascended pieces from pvp chests, mostly good stats too.

I get an ascended ring or chest around every 150 levels although I did have a dry spell from rank 700-1300 where I got nothing ascended.

I get a few exotics here and there in the rank up chests but I probably get more from actual WvW than the chests.

Not sure what was happening tonight but I got an ascended weapon chest, ascended armor chest, an exotic and a bunch of rares. Not really any stats I would have picked myself but all in all I’m pretty happy.

Rank 1200 – 1 ascended ring… nothing else… perhaps a rare here and there and very, very occasional exotics not worth much.

ranks 1200 and 250+ : 4 chests (all during one weekend), couple of rings, 1 precursor. One ring was knights, 1 chest celestial and everything else condi x_x

It’s weird but i get burst when i good stuff.

Example: I got 2 of the rings and one chest in a week but then i would just get rares for like a month.

Still waiting for my first weapon/armor chest to drop.
