Why are they not in the wallet?
Probably touched on since launch, but it’s incredibly annoying that you would design a currency tool like the wallet and then when you add in an item to be used as currency, you drop it into my inventory….

It’s because they’re soulbound and the wallet deals with account bound things; you’re only supposed to spend them per character.
Of course, that still doesn’t explain why those mist chests don’t stack.

Use this trick quick as I suspect this is a bug. I am actually kinda surprised they haven’t patched something this critical yet <sarc>.

It’s a bit late for that, but I still have not gotten 2,250 proof of heroics (250×9 professions).
They could have upped the rate to 10 proofs per chest and it wouldn’t be as bad as this 2-4 per chest RNG.
Essentially it means you HAVE to PvE , you can’t tome it to 80 and expect to get enough proofs in a reasonable amount of time.
Also, the fact that the proof of heroics are soulbound is a joke. The chests should be stackable , but Tyler Bearce from Arenanet stated it is bug (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/wuv/Notarized-Scroll-Frustration/5679528 ) that the chest is accountbound.

Because they are character bound?
Also they are used to buy siege so yes these should be account bound added to wallet, and while tomes also give hero points plus they are account bound so moot point IMHO. They should be added to wallet since they will just stack up in our bank slots if we don’t buy siege with them while not everyone has the need to buy siege so yes this an issue
