Protection &Rite of the great dwarf
Yes, all damage reductions skills im pretty sure stack with protection
Papa’s Lady Luck- Necro
(HELL)
Sigh, did they play games where damage reduce abilities stack before? =/
How do they expect people to die with that hehe
Also thanks for the reply Chase.
Rite of the Great Dwarf not only stacks but it is also currently bugged:

Crystal Desert – Eredon Terrace – Fort Aspenwood – Stormbluff Isle
Good grief, i thought that was just a bug and they were working on a fix. Well silly me …
Damage reduction stacks multiplicative, not additive btw.

No, writ of the great dwarf is additive. With 2.8k armor, tempest protection, and writ of the great dwarf (WotGF) you will take literally 20 power damage on large crits.

cough..mussel soup…
Honesty is not insulting, stupidity is.
>Class Balance is a Joke<
As if protection + chill wasn’t enough =p
I am just wondering why do they allow such silly things in the first place, by the way did anyone tried that food that gives endurance refill rate if it works with vigor too and how it works? =p

It does work now because vigor is 50%. Food gives you another 40 so you have 90% regen, which is almost as good as the old vigor.
Cap is 100%

There was not a cap 2 years ago…. or at least the food was bugged to bypass the cap.

The rite is not bugged. It just stacks. Protection: 33% Rite: 50%, Rev Hp below 75%: 10%, Frost aura: 10%, Scrapper rune: 7%, Rev over 360 range: 10%, Vengeful hammers: 20%, Bulwark gyro: 50%. There are many other things which will allow a temporary damage reduction of 100% or over.

That high percentage of damage reduction should be multiplicative and not additive. Anet stated most of the calculations are through multiplication and some fewer odd ones are additive like guardian signet per example.
What’s the point of block/invul/blind and etc if you can try to cheese up and get 100% damage mitigation?

Rite of the Great Dwarf: Fixed a bug that caused this skill to reduce damage additively rather than multiplicatively while under the effects of a trait.
Fixed!
Thanks, Anet
