Put Living World stuff in WvW!
Depends on how it would be implemented.
For instance, the Jumping Puzzle chests were infested with annoying people who tried to prevent other people from getting the achievement.
So it’d had to be done with care.
Now I would love for some content (whether that’s living story related or not) that would attract a wider array of people to WvW.
WvW Coordinator
We are continue to attempt to put more and more Living World content into WvW and while some releases do better than others, it should continue to be more integrated in the future.
Maybe a living world pack to “Conquer The Mist” Or something to where you have to take control of your borderland.
At this point I think just about anything would make WvW fun.
Not that i’m actually bord of it because I still love playing it, but it is a little disheartening to see the PvE world come to life and change constantly while the “battlefield” remains the same.

I’d love to see WvW incorporated into the Living Story (assuming WvW could cope with the resulting population boost).
The ‘story’ wrapped around WvW is that fight there protect the rest of the world from invaders. But right now, the more a server is losing in WvW, the more reason they have to abandon WvW and just do open world PvE until the next match up. That’s backwards.
Instead, it would be great if WvW outcomes made a visible difference to open world PvE on the server.
- Win in WvW => see more traders and caravans in PvE.
- Lose in WvW => more trash mobs in PvE.
- Etc.

If they did this, which would be awesome, then TC would never loose… ever. lol

I don’t want living story in wvw. I want more wvw stuff in wvw. We need a lot of fixes before anet should even bother with more pve junk in wvw.

+1, though it’ll make the maps even more cramped. A new map is really needed at this point for logistical reasons.
Having the living world content involve something like upgrading their home borderlands keeps and towers would mean the PvEers taking an active role in benefiting their server, a role which usually falls to a handful of people who would be grateful for the relief in expense (speaking as one of those people).
Down in the lower tiers the home borderlands are pretty empty except when a big guild is called in to defend. Putting some of the Living World content into the home borderlands would make it feel like more of a community effort to protect the homelands.
all classes 80, who is the cheesiest of them all?
gw2 dress-up barbie is the real endgame
Maybe just add an NPC in an enemy garrison, or tower that you have to speak to, something as simple as that would bring a lot of people into WvW.
Or you could just add some unique armor skins based on rank…
WvW is war, never ending war…handholding with pirates and dredge/flame legion romances have no place there.

I personally haven’t found any of the living world stuff interesting. Yes, some had nice scenery like Bazaar of the Four Winds, but I would really have that stuff entirely left out of WvWvW. First fix WvWvW, then think about some embellishments and extra activities.

I don’t like when anet puts pve stuff in wvw and then we get all these pve players who really don’t care about wvw coming in to qued maps. They don’t know what they are doing, they don’t care, they dont listen to commanders, they give bad information in map chat, or talk sbout useless junk, and they waste time, materials, and space.
I wouldn’t mind it so much if there were not ques, but I’m tier 1, there’s lots of ques.

This is all nice but when it comes down to it…The reward for playing the more difficult (WvW) content of the game is vastly outshadowed by the reward for even mindless PvE world boss spamming.
Why would anyone who PvEs ever consider joining up in WvW where it’s much harder and has an abysmal reward system? They wouldn’t. You come face to face with a 50 man zerg from a PvE’ers point of view and that’s just like, “Yeah…fk that I don’t get anything for it I’ma go kill a lvl 15 boss.” WvW is a complete waste of time in every way and does not encourage anyone to play it for any reason other than just to be playing it.
WvW does not reward you as a player.
WvW receives substantially less attention from ANet as a whole.
WvW is much harder to accomplish anything in.
Really why do we play this again?
@Devon Jumping puzle doesn’t count as wvw anymore. Its not even in EB. It literally is the token pvp jumping puzzle. I expect some actual skill based wvw living world content. A good majority of wvw’ers dont even do the JP becuase it is boring, repetitive, and unrewarding

I thought I didn’t do it because it’s a jumping puzzle.

The frequency of champ badges is significantly lower in WvW than in Cursed Shores/Frost Gorge.
No this is a horrible idea. Leave living story out of wvw. We are just gonna get full borderlands with pve’ers…
If you want to increase the number of pve-ers in WvW, all Anet have to do is announce that the chance of getting a precursor is significantly increased in WvW in comparison to the PVE world.. there you go – instant increase in the number of PVE players.
(I have to know! In WvW, do Legendary NPCs drop Legendary loot?)
With the queen’s thing going on in pve land atm the amount of money you can make there per hour is crazy compared to an average night running around in wvw.
What we need in wvw is a decent loot system- particularly noticed in wvw last night, if your not in a squad nor in a party the drop rate becomes terrible, and even partied and squadded it’s not great.
I’m guessing the chest you get for killing the champ ( taking a tower or keep) is meant as an encouragement to take these objectives but that just encourages more zergling behaviour.
Keep living world content out of wvw, it was bad enough having pve’rs taking all the slots to come and do jump puzzles. Sure, code in the drops the pve’rs are getting so we can get the goodies too but as for any storyline or making any daily reliant on living world content- no thanks.
What we need is some fresh wvw content (oh and a rank points reset ‘vendor’ so we can change our points allocation, seeing as you can’t be bothered to make them account wide and keep adding rank point related things).
How about a map with more underwater or new objectives underwater that grant a small bonus to the side that holds them- and no AC allowed under water so people would have to fight for those objectives which would encourage more open field battles.
