Come on Anet, if you go too deep with your PvE content people will start switching to other mmo games, people like switching grinding tastes. GW2 is very unique with its WvW, PvP (more or less) and GvGs.

Can they just admit it please?! Promises and twitch hype regarding HoT and how WvW will be more amazing then ended up super dead, just very disappointing.

I love this game and it is hard for me to leave it. But I know very well that if I find a replacement, I will never come back, as well as other WvW players.

I’m afraid the reason Anet ignores WvW (and many other problems), is because they are busy making raids, the new flagship content of GW2.

And yes, a long long time ago, WvW had that role.

After 2 years of playing WvW, I gave up. I’m actually enjoying the game now. Have fun waiting.

You were able to achieve the transition from a WvW to PvE player. I hope I can do that as well…… but not seeing this happening any time in the near future.

I find it too hard to be proud of any accomplishment in pve. It has about as much attraction as being really good at jumping puzzles.

Its basically like saying yayyy, i finally beat bald bull on mike tyson’s punch-out with the response of…yeah, so did everyone else once you figured out the timing, pleb.

I’ve played since release. 1st year was strictly pve. I didn’t get into wvw until I realized I couldn’t get map completion on my server. I transferred to JQ and got it in one week. Then the first season hit and enjoyed it. Stayed until S2 then transferred back down to my original now dead server. The transition was not a problem. The coming to terms of continued massive neglect was.

Edit- I go to EotM for my fix now, lol.

I am very proud when i win fight in WvW because i know that if i win fight in WvW i must be very good.

At this point all we can hope for are minor tweaks until something better comes along. Camelot Unchained or Black Desert Online has some promise but I am not holding my breath.
