Guild Wars 2

I am a total PvP noob. Let’s begin there.

I got my eyes set on a piece of the PvP Masquerade armor set and wanted to know if it would be possible to get my hands on it.
According to the wiki, I need:
1 x item token
1 x wolf token
1 x arcane crystal
5 x arcane powder

I have no idea how to get my hands on any of the items and I didn’t understand much of the wiki, as I don’t know how the PvP works in this game.

Is it possible to, within the foreseeable future, get my hands on these items, and how?
Are the items accountbound or soulbound?

I am a bit hesitant to try out WvW and such, as I know from my WoW days how beginners are treated by the high and mighty pros. Do I stand a snowballs chance in (a very warm place) to achieve this, or should I just put it out of my mind as fast as possible?

That would be from spvp. You can just buy that piece of armor on the TP. I believe it is the tribal set.

PvP armor, only works in structured PvP, that is, battles accessed via heart of the mists.

WvW uses whatever your PvE character is wearing.

Sorry, not that easy. I edited my post, I believe the skin is called the tribal set.

and the conversion from armor from pve to a pvp set if you got it in the reg game was a recently added option, so dont feel bad about it. new thing just added.

So I should look for tribal armor, and I can then use it as a PvE skin?

For WvW, join a guild and learn WvW with them.

That will work, assuming I’m not mistaken. Hopefully it’s not too expensive. Maybe buy one piece first.

If you click on each item in the recipe on the wiki it will tell you where to get it.

That tribal armor is not available in PvE. Unless something has changed.
