Guild Wars 2

Been playin’ PVE for sometime and now wanting to get into some PVP or WvW. Just a newbie question about PVP armor. The PVP armor that is selling on the merchants has the same stats as I have on my elite PVE armor. So what is the difference between the 2 armor sets? What is the necessity of having a set of PVP armor with the stats the same?

Well, and the fact that you can’t salvage them, throw them in the mystic toilet, or sell them.

Yeah… You better off getting your armor from Dungeons or craft (since you can salvage those) if you intent to upgrade yourself to ascended tiers.
