Im not asking them to increase the server size or whatever… but how about a simple “Your 20th in Q, estimated time of 25mins before you can enter WvW”….
Just something!?!?!
Im on Piken, ever since the free transfer to Medium pop servers the Q’s here have gone through the roof, sometimes from 5mins, to over an hour!!!!!!
Will this ever been address?
the number and time sound good. But, I don’t know if they will spend the resources on that. Even though, it should be pretty kitten easy to add that code in.
Queue times aren’t based on anything they can control. So I doubt it.

Yea because the actual queue times are based on when free space comes up on that map (someone on that queued map leaves the map). That being said, there does at least need to have some modifications made to the queue information that is displayed to you. I have had times, for me and my guild members, of us being in a map queue for a while, but if we change to another map while still in queue, it seems that we are “kicked out” of the queue, but the WvW icon at top left of screen still says we’re queued up. We know we are “kicked out” because then other people later will be able to either get into the map straight in, or only after a very short queue, while the person who changed maps or whatever is still supposedly in queue for that same map.
What they could do is:
“You are number 50 of 100 players waiting on X map.”
“You are number 1 of 100 players waiting on X map.”
They couldn’t reliably give you a time until you get to play, but they could give you what spot you are in the queue and then you can figure out over experiencing that queue what it translates to in time generally.
There are plenty of servers without queues. You are free to join one of them.
Queue times what are those?
