what is the difference between gold guild catapult blueprints and blue guild catapult blueprints?

on the AH there are both types…how do you get them?

One you get for commendations the other is a guild upgrade buff.

gold ones are from commendations?

so then you get the blue ones from your guild upgrade buff?
and they are not account bound then?

To answer your question as to why one is 9g and the other is 1.5,

that all comes down to supply. there’s 1000+ of the yellow guild catas, which means the community of guild cata farmers have collectively stabilized the price.

as for the blue guild catas, there is simply not enough of them available to keep the price low.

there’s no difference in cata quality.

Right at mo i can’t check, but yeah if i remember right gold ones are commendation bought and blue are the upgrade ones. Nope they aren’t account bound(or if they are drop them and picking up will remove it like it used to with soulbound siege).

Gold guild catapults require only 25 supply to build as compared to 50 supply for a regular catapult and 60 supply for a superior; while doing the damage of a superior. As for the blue guild catapults, I don’t know what their supply requirements are nor what damage they do.

I always thought that the blue ones were the guild catas pre-commendations patch so you cant get them anymore
