Alright, I’ve been on DR since early off and for the longest time, we almost always had the outmanned buff. We were in last place for the longest time. Bottom server in the bottom tier. The tier was dominated by FC all day every day and DR and Kaining were about even in points but still getting destroyed. One day, we FINALLY get more players on WvW and start becoming organized and then all of a sudden we started winning and now we’re the bad guys! I mean, I understand if people are upset about that but what I don’t understand is why does it seem that every hate DR so much? We fought hard to get where we were and we had more than our fair ahare of getting dominated. I remember when I still disliked kain because when FC had a score that doubled DR and Kain combined, serfs of kain still managed to be constantly assaulting our borderlands all day. I mean, I may be venting/ranting but it makes me feel bad, because I know a lot of played worked like hell to get where we are today and everyone is so spiteful towards us! It really bums me out

Its because many, not most or all, of us had a taste of victory and started flaunting our kitten on the forums. Of course with any matchups the winning server is going to get the “No skill, just zerg” accusations, but honestly those fall flat. I’ve seen more than my fair share of Ferg and Kain zergs, but accusations like that stir up controversy.

Also whenever an opponent is proud of a succesful outmanned defense, or ninja take, or map control, their opponents will always respond with a little bitterness or flaunting which simply serves to fuel the fire.

I know many on DR got tired of the Kaining “We dominate primetime” stuff they were flaunting on the forums and one week ago went into EB with the intent to shut the out completely. Of course these things get backlash as well. Its a self perpetuating cycle.

My advice: just play hard, ignore the haters, and respect(fully kill) your opponents unless they become tools. Yes Fergs [TTA] I’m gunning for you.

While I personally don’t feel this way, I believe the general consensus is that DR didn’t work to get where they are so much as they were the bottom of the bottom so all the guilds looking for an underdog challenge transferred there and that is how they have seen success recently.
