Do the claim tickets have an expiration date, or will we not be able to use them after the next wvw season? Was just curious, as i figured i would just save my tickets to use them for another mistforged weapon after the next season, but then i get confused as to why the mistforged crafting system exists.

The claim tickets will be valid from Season to Season.

The reason why the Mistforged crafting/upgrade system exists is because some players might want the base weapon models without the particle effects, or who simply didn’t have enough claim tickets to get the upgraded model (a non-issue this time around due to the 100 extra tickets handed out, but it may be an issue in future). They can get the basic model and then upgrade it next season when they get more tickets.
