Has you devo ever thought about removing pets/clone nameplate. Not like Enigneer get any love in that department.

Would go against the point of mes cloned

Ok you got me there then i can only tackle Ranger pet then since it isnt a clone and its a pet should not have a nameplate

I think they said that they are doing something about the long nameplates, so that should fix alot of problems!

As far as rangers go;
In PvE the name plate don’t matter because the enemies will attack either you or your pet based on dmg, toughness…or whatever factor.

In PvP, the enemy players will ignore the pet and only attack the player.

Rangers use medium armour, and have lower personal dps then other classes. Their pet make up the differences here. The name tag is a distracting factor and working as intended. It helps the survivability of the ranger, even if only for 1-2 dmg abilities toward them. Removing the tag makes the pet almost completely useless, and hinders rangers below the survivability threshold of other classes.

i wasnt talking about going after the pet to kill it but really its about trying to tell how many player there are when Its just group of pet making it seems like there is over 50 when there only maybe 30 and twenty ranger pet…Just a thought
