I tried to search for a thread on this topic, but I couldn’t find one. This is less an actual grievance, more a Necro’s lamentation, but the fact that there are no ambients in EOTM legitimately makes me sad. There’s a hole in my soul as I run around, I guess because my LF isn’t full and there’s no relief for the lack of LF in my bar.

Any other Necros feel empty inside in EOTM? Is there any hope that some mist magic will lore some ambients in at any point in the future?

disagree entirely and i’m a thief… i’m sick of watching so many bad thieves pretend they are good in wvw because they attack bunnies to invis off. all ambient creatures should be removed from there too imo. the only function they serve is for a class mostly full of baddies to find more ways to run away from fights they can’t win. again: this is coming from a thief with 4k hours played on said thief.

Interesting. I don’t remember ever really seeing any Thieves do this, but I can see it happening. Then again, I seem to mostly run into D/P Thieves, and they don’t need ambients to run away from fights. They just spam the stealth mechanic.

It’s just startling how crazily different fights are starting at 0% LF and 100% LF. There’s no really good analogy for any other class to compare it to either.

For now, I just go find a one-off Veteran or some Turrets to build from before finding fights. The convenience of the BL entrances though is sorely missed.
