PrimordusVirtus[RISE] The underdog guild of T6 to T2 chronicles of Kaineng has come to an end.
On Monday April 22 2013. I, Prince Jarvan Leader of Primordus Virtus, announced that [RISE] will stay on Kaineng. Unfortunately the promise didnt turn out as good as it was. The guild lost strong core members including core officers due to staying. I thought of it over-night, if the guild stays it will slowly die with frustration, also of my inactivity or transfer start new and redeem the guild of quality > quantity guild. So i have decided we will farm for gold and have our designated server will be confirm on Monday-tuesday of April 29-30th.
Im deeply grateful to the people of kaineng for none-stop support and full respect of RISE. I apologize for all the promises that I made for the server. RISE gave its full potential in WvW and for the people of kaineng. The memories will live on but it will RISE again.

If you lose “core members” then they weren’t core members to begin with. And it’s just a game so have fun, rebuild your guild or just throw it away.
A gold farming guild sounds quite nice (I did some myself) but just remember to diversify because gold farming can get a little stale sometimes too.
With upcoming custom arenas and more guild missions, I think there will be more GW2 content to play. If not, and it all gets too boring, there are other games or things to do. Remember to transfer to Jade Quarry. Thanks.

Spitfire, no chronicles can be complete without delving onto the darker side of life so I’m going to ask you one question that would pertain to the RISE Chronicles.
Did you guys have a couple of people in a FA voice com that you used for nefarious, quid pro quo purposes for a short period of time?

Definitely going to miss seeing you guys. RISE always stood for quality and great sportsmanship. I hope to see all of you again, either as teammates or as competitors.
It’s better to just go ahead and xfer some where rather than stay and have your members slowly depleting. By this, you’re getting rid of the unloyal members and finding out who your core members are. Big things coming ahead for RISE. Can’t lie though, I’m gonna miss open field battles with BT, VK, RET, PiNK, PRO, etc. Epic times. Epic moments. I know right… and I’m not surprised , guilds that stay when thier server loses will always be that guilds that stay together with loyal members and are greatly recognized on their servers.

We have gotten ONE guild, does not qualify DB as a bandwagon server……. yet
Exactly. DB fell through the tiers only to slowly build ourselves back up to where we are now. We did not suddenly increase in population like a bandwagon server would. We rarely recruit waiting to be chosen by guilds who want to be here. We are not a server that ate anothers guilds. Good luck RISE wherever you may go!

Nothing personal against the people of RISE (as I’m sure you’re good folk irl) but I’d be embarrassed to have my name part of a similar history.

Not everyone shares your view of being “loyal” to a server for the entirety of the game. Some people may find that honorable and some simply don’t care where they end up as long as they are having fun in the server they’re in.
Arguably, DB itself can be considered in that group – they were a solid T3 world before a majority of their WvW guilds went to SoS back in October. It took them quite a while to pick themselves back out of T5 after that happened.
Not everyone shares your view of being “loyal” to a server for the entirety of the game. Some people find that honorable and some simply don’t care where they end up as long as they are having fun in the server they’re in.
Let’s not forget about all the fubar’d matches as a result of this ‘having fun’.
