Rams buggy?
Yes it cycles through the cool down twice on some occassions.
Dont worry its a feature not a bug, nor is caused by the massive amounts of server side lag
I dont think its lag. I noticed it too. Sometimes its even more than one cycle. Yesterday I had a ram cycle like 3 times without doing crap in a single attack. Total amount of useless cycles was probably around 20-30. And of course we got the door down to 10% before it turned into a 3v25, when it should have been down ages ago.

Just wait a bit more after the cd ends so it doesn’t get stuck. It seen to not go off if you press it right when it reset. The timer is 3.5s, and waiting like 3.7s haven’t given me any issue.

Yup it gets stuck spamming 1. If only that could happen to brainless blobbers spamming 111111.

They’ve also had the issue of delayed damage on gates for quite some time now. How long I’m not sure but it didn’t used to be like that.
A long time ago you would use the ram skill and the damage would instantly translate to the gate. Now, when you use the ram skill, the ram hits the gate and there’s about a half – full second delay before the gate takes damage. I’ve seen people hop off of the rams early on the last hit to open a gate and the gate won’t open because the damage didn’t go off.

Since the last patch you should be able to just hold down the button and it will ram automatically (works on catapults and trebuchet if firing max power). Using the flame blast could be an issue though. This change may possibly be the cause of the skills not activating in the first place.
Also I’m fairly sure that the delay on the flame ram samage is only on superior Rams and is due to the shorter animation rather than the damage being slower.

This is true. But the issue of the skill going on cd when you press it right after the cd ends happen on any ram.

Golems have auto attack and like golems, rams are are not a special channeled attack.
My personal guess is,you cant put it on AA as it doesnt have 0CD like golem for example,but never tryed to leave AA on longer CD abils before,so aint confirmed

But you can put AA on any skill on your bar, whether it has a cd or not. Don’t think cd is a factor here… they probably just didn’t think to do it.

yeah, I get skipped damage all the time now for the last two weeks. It also skips the flame attack as well. Super annoying.
and I thought it is just me, because nobody said anything about it after the last big patch that brought this problem.
A “skipped” animation did happen before the patch as well sometimes, but the damage was still applied to the gate when the ram went on cooldown. That’s no longer the case.
Yes. I de-target then re-target the gate then use the knockback ram skill once when that happens which seems to fix the issue.

Just hold down the 1 button and it’ll work fine. I’m pretty sure it got broke in the recent patch which made that possible, actually.
Yes this is an issue. We’ve reported it a few times and can only hope it gets resolved. Until then, look at it as an invisible defender with short term disablers and yell a lot in Teamspeak:)
