New topic as i think this is a different discussion from the other topic now (sorry for the repost) which is now also relevant based on poll results.

Since Tyler Bearce announced that there will also be a poll about the complete removal of dessert borderlands, I suggest that we Re-poll the simultanious /rotation of borderlands in that poll as well. This because the last poll about rotations/simultaneous borders was likely mistaken by many who think that by voting for rotations, they would keep dessert borderlands out of the game (which was not the case). Also others just did not vote at all as they missed their true option (be able to vote dessert border out completely) Also most of the discussion on the forums was more about the missing option to vote out Dessert borderlands, while there was little discussion on the topic of a possible effect on WvW balance by the difference in borderlands compared to always having 2 options for borderlands to play on.

Therefore i suggest the following 2 poll questions (which would both require a 75% super majority vote):

Question 1:
Do you want to completely remove dessert borderlands from the game?
1 Yes
2 No

Question 2, in case dessert borderlands remains in the game, do you want to have rotations (A) or simultaneous borderlands (B,C)

A Rotations ( x weeks 3 dessert borderlands, then x weeks 3 alpine borderlands)
B Simultaneous (1 dessertborderland, 2 alpine borderlands, dessert border is rotated between servers weekly as much as possible)
C Simultaneous (1 alpine borderland, 2 dessert borderlands, alpine border is rotated between servers weekly as much as possible)

Everyone would be forced to answer both questions to cast their vote, so players who would like to see dessert border removed would then also have to pick their ‘second best’ option which they would like to see in case the super majority(>75%) does not want to remove the dessert borderlands from the game.

In this way there should be no confusion about if the rotation/simultaneous options like we had in last poll would affect the question to whether on not to completely remove dessert borderlands.

Your “new topic” is old and has already been addressed at length by both forums posters and the devs.

But I do like your idea of “dessert” BLs. Can you imagine it? Everything made out of cakes and cookies – pudding for rivers and lakes. Instead of trees, giant ice cream sundaes. Everything is edible.
