“Why are you disband ?? "
“Re is disbanding / Not raiding anymore because of the current meta and boring play styles. It just isn’t as fun anymore to stand back and throw ranged DPS at each other or the leader focus meta is just terrible also.? "

“Why do Player play?”
1. To learn
2. To create
3. To feel challenged
4. To lose themselves in a pleasurable activity
5. To calm and focus themselves
6. Competitively to win
7. Cooperatively
8. For the fun and joy of it

You aren’t even funny anymore. And your sig makes no sense at all.

Driver sniping is toxic, and EU has really taken it to an entirely new level compared to how it was on NA. Its gone away for the most part on NA but reappears eventually. NA has moved onto new tactics.
Pirate shipping has been here a while though despite the stab changes, and there are ways to deal with it, its just not that many guilds are clever enough to figure out how. I don’t really think its a good excuse to quit. I think you guys should give it another shot.
If they no longer enjoy the game or have fun there is no reason to give it another shot……
:/
Was fun having you on Gandara.
Sorry to see you guys leave! Always been a great presence and good to meet you on the borders.
Good luck further <3
Anet has ruined WvW with the stability nerf, Now it’s who has the most Necro’s and Ele’s in the zerg wins.
This just goes to show that Anet don’t play WvW…They haven’t got a clue.

Just thought I’d add this in here.
[Re] did not disband because of the stability changes, they had not factor in our disband. In fact we barely noticed the difference after moving about party set up’s.
The main reason we disbanded was said above.
We just don’t enjoy it anymore, as a pure and direct result of the pirate ship meta and the leader focus
However I 100% agree with you
Here is something i want to share:
http://blog.iyogi.com/alerts/ignoring-customer-complaints-means-losing-customers.html
" Some customers throw unrealistic demands or claim discounts, but there are customers who actually look for solutions "
" ….irate customers bring huge prospects of customer retention, when handled efficiently, no matter how many times they return to complain "
" Leaving your customers’ issues and complaints unresolved will repel your customers and lose sales "

I find myself playing less and less everyday. WvW is losing its mojo. Also not looking forward to new BLs. That might be the last straw.

Same here, sadly. I’m spending more of my time in PvP lately.

Someone accused me of being a MLG in a pvp match yesterday when I was calling out the times for Stillness and Tranq. I said I didn’t know what MLG was, is that some sort of pejorative? “Major League Gamer” he says.
So I doubt there’s any chance of that happening .
Driver sniping, pirate ships, and venomshare guilds are what will kill GvG, it’s a player created game mode, but people who want to win at the cost of everyone having fun and getting better are the bigger problem than Arenanet. Guilds should strive to get better, not run gimicky tactics to win. The stab change kind of hurts how much trains will push so it will indirectly hurt GvG, and it’s kind of terrible in pug blobbing, it just reinforces who has more people to dump random CC or who runs more backline will win.
I do think WvW needs a lot more help than introducing some EoTM like maps with buffs, automated turrets, lots of vertical siege and choke points that discourage actual fun fighting. But that’s a whole different issue that I don’t really have a solution for.

because “we want to take this in another direction” philosophy, so instead of creating an alternative, like ppl who enjoy open fights, they stay in open fights and ppl who enjoy verticality, they do that. But not with ANet, you play like this or find another game.
A Skritt is dumb. A group of Skritt are smart.
A Human is smart. A group of Humans are idiots.
i bought for my nephew an account in the last discount . he didn’t really wanted to play the game but i gave him with only 10euro . he did some pve to go 18 level and came fast to wvw .
he knew the mass battles from me ( some times we drink coffee together while i was playing ) but when he came to wvw we didn’t found a big fight .
he asked me what happened . i told him a change made guilds stopped .
result : he logged one time in the last week and he will log again on friday reset
p.s. i hope someone understand soon why was so wrong this change and reverse it until it is ready a new working mass battle system .
unfortunately only real technicians know that we are not touching anything that is working and devs are not technicians , they are humans that coding make them feel gods and ofc , they are not
….
What?

It is the task of the developers of the game to tweak the balance so that gimmicky cheese builds get nerfed to a reasonable level. You cannot expect players not to use the exploits or easy mode builds. Of course big part of the players will do anything which gives them easy rewards and wins. If the designers are ignorant of these, then they should do their best to contact the player base and fix these issues as soon as possible. e.g. I could show Arenanet devs some very “interesting” places where one can place siege yet those locations siege should not work.
I noticed that especially on certain enemy servers most of the players (I mean both roaming and zerging) are using the current feature of the month builds. For example in roaming perplexity runes are still going strong and multiple thief teams are very common, followed by multiple mesmers.
The pirate ship meta certainly isn’t less or more fun than old melee train. 3/4 of the core is the same, just more ranged. Both metas can be countered by spreading around and then clumping in from all directions if there is enough open space. This assumes the attacker has tons of ranged players. What is most problematic is that the is simply zero disadvantage to blobbing. The bigger your blob is, the more likely you are to win. Zone wide (70+) pirate ship blob surely wins over 25 man zerg. Enemy groups of 20 or more players should always be rendered on the maps, so that enemy can see their movements, encouraging them to split up if they want to go unnoticed. Also events and camp/tower/keep/castle lords should scale up to the number of enemy players.
